Thanks for the kind words, glad you liked it. It's mentioned in a few Doors books that they were Stones fans plus Brian Jones is credited as being one of the 1st electric slide guitar players which Robby certainly ran with. Also on that album is "I'm a King Bee" which Ray wound sing in the clubs. So, I thought I'd throw the album in for set dressing.

@@chrisnicini834 yeah I’m not surprised they were fans of the stones, Brian was really good on slide guitar, especially songs like Little Red Rooster. I didn’t know Ray would sing I’m A King Bee, that’s pretty cool!

By the way I'm gonna be getting an Italian Continental soon, I got a good deal on ebay, just gotta keep searching for a Rhodes piano bass, they're so expensive, your setup makes me jealous, and a Vox Berkeley like yours would be awesome too.

@@jamiph4563 Very cool that you're getting an Italian model. I used to have one, wish I kept it. My setup still isn't complete, I'm always on the lookout for the cabinet to my Acoustic 260 head and I'd love the "Jordan Professional" which is the slave unit to my "Jordan Boss" amp but I've never seen one for sale or otherwise. I love my Berkley but I'm not sure Ray really used one. Even my Gold Sparkle bass is a year off from Ray's, there are a few minor differences I only recently became aware of. My advice is to get any piano bass. Even a beat up one is fairly easy to fix. Then down the line when you have a little extra cash you trade up for one closer to the one you really want. Gold Sparkles are rare but a new one seems to turn up at least once a year. Keep at it , you already have the hardest part down - how to play like Manzarek.

@@chrisnicini834 Thanks man, yeah I really love the Berkeley even though it isn't what Ray played, I just love the look of the american Vox amps. And hopefully I can find a good price on a Piano bass, the one I dream of is the early silver one that you can see Ray with most of the time. I don't like the later basses they look bulkier and don't have as good sound.

Thank you! I prefer this version of Moonlight Drive. While the Strange Days take is obviously a classic I like that this was the way they meant it to sound and how they played it in the clubs and ballrooms.

No, the real house was torn down and is now a condo complex. This was shot in a windowless Rhode Island basement in February. All the props are real but the stained glass window and the beach are special effects. The video started as a test to see if I could pull the effect off.
