Oh my... that is beautiful. I actually own an erhu. After hearing this and Hua Zi Hill, I think I'm actually gonna learn to play this beautiful instrument.
thanx for your comment. this is one of the classical Chinese erhu song. this is played by many erhu players, and I like this playing best. I've been learning erhu for 10months, don't you think you try it?(^^)

I love Asian Traditional music a lot. But I'm from germany and its very difficult to find Chinese or other asian music. I don't know, but i guess to find a way to learn chinese instruments like erhu would be a lot more difficult. Chinese music like the Traditional Music or Artist like DaoLang or Xu Wei are very unknown here in germany. That is really too bad , cause I love Traditional Chinese and Modern Chinese music like Dao Lang etc.
@welcomeToUrMooseyFat I'm very sorry of my terrible late response. this is played by the accompaniment on synthesizers. the arrangement by the accompaniment is also fantastic.
Sorry, I was late in answering. Basically, erhu isn't expensive in China.($900 is the highest level, I heard) But in JP, over $1800 erhus are not rare! I found some erhus in a*azon and e*ay, but I can't see through whether it's good or bad. I'm happy if KISSklas gives us more information.
@TwiddleXTormenT thanx for your comment. I'm so happy. erhu is the different from violin becouse of floated strings from neck. the sound of erhu especially fits for the music of relaxation I think.
@Shamarocy thanx for your interesting comment. :) the player, Mr Yang Xing Xin had much difficulty in his life so far. that's why he makes us calm and warm, I think.

I bought mine in china too, but it's hard to know the real value because I purchased in a small shop in central china. I payed about 2200 RMB ($315)... I probably payed too much, though. In general, a good erhu costs between 1200 and 3000 rmb, and an excellent erhu is upwards of 3000 rmb. You can get an erhu as cheap as 100 yuan (about $12, but it's basically worthless stuff they slap together).
@Haydea04 thanx for your comment. the sound of my erhu master is excellent. he ran through tougher life, so his sound is emotional, but soft and calm with a lot of love.
@rt602 I was wondering if you have anymore information about this piece? im in a high school music study class and we're doing a project where we compare two cultures of music. I'm comparing Celtic Irish FIddle with Chinese Erhu. Do you know where i could get any backgroudn information on this track or place that has erhu music information? thanks!
I'm sorry because of my poor English... Yang Xing Xin recorded many CDs by his independent label. So I think it's difficult to find his CDs outside JP. wanna listen more?
