Exactly!!! I never did like mike when he came on the show, I think he started out helping Mark, when Mark went off on his own from Jeff and Lance made liquor in Tennessee for awhile.. @RustyBoysGaming some of it isn't as scripted as you'd think. Apparently some of them were real moonshiners. The whole theory they're all licensed is also likely incorrect. More than likely they're abusing the whole you can make it but not sell it dealio with the show and making money off the show instead. As principal actors they're making decent bank per film day. Like at least 800 for the day. Some of it is scripted but I don't think any of them are real actors.

It is scripted to a point. But likely not as much as people think. The dudes probably essentially play themselves but a little but more dramatic or cutting out some little details to make them more appealing. Like the duck dynasty guys. Apparently they mostly used to be actual moonshiners. So they're likely getting paid for the show now instead of actually selling anything. Meaning if its in the right areas the distilling isn't necessarily illegal by state law. And without sale its not a crime. Especially if the alcohol never actually changes hands. But based off some actual happenings. Probably old stories.

@jon yeah and I work in film where it's supposed to be prop alcohol and I've seen someone get real alcohol. Shit happens and sometimes crew members get up to bad shit. Some times they're also extremely professional. Depends on the crew.
