How to stay SECRET while making moonshine: 1.Make a cleared path straight to the still. 2. Do construction around the site including cutting down trees and making it as exposed as possible. 3. Profit.
They sure go to alot of trouble, expense, labor. these scripted shows are ridiculous, running a trackhoe on property, that's doesn't belong to them, $100-$200 a gallon moonshine, I rather drink a $20 bottle of Evan Williams any day. I love watching Moonshiners, but being scripted has ruined this show, always drama, now it's all about making different flavors, and who's stepping on who's toes. Keep it Simple "Just My Opinion"
you know since its scripted, the land and everything they do is 100% legal and preapproved before filming. There is no way the ATF would let them continue this show if it was 100% legit Moonshining.
I don't remember seeing plastic barrels until the 80s or 90s cause we always had to get metal drums for when we needed em for something...I also remember finding old stills in caves and whatnot in the hills of Wva but we never bothered anything nomatter how old everything looked
Funny how Mike cut the tree and it fell right where he wanted but Josh had to climb way up a tree, rope it and have several ppl pull it to get the same result.
