This game looks so cute! I do love farming games like this so it might be my jam! I'm not used to deck builders, though, so I'm hoping I can get used to that part. The Spirits are all adorable though!

I just finished the demo for dragon quest monster the dark prince took 12 hours to finish it and the demo was a lot of fun I even fused all the monsters i had down to 8 in total got some good ones

@@GymLeaderEd It is a fair criticism towards the game. If you're gonna cover a game, at least do the same and provide proper, constructive criticism as well and point out obvious flaws. Not saying the game is outright bad. I think it looks decent. It's just not up there, especially compared to other indie pixel art games. This game could literally take about a year of polish, adding attack animations, and fans wouldn't mind.

Also if you can date NPCs I wonder if it'll be similar to Stardew in you can get married and maybe have kids, although the character does not seem like they are an adult though. That was a part I liked in Stardew, building up an epic farm and having a family. Add monster taming on top of that and this game may be my all time favorite of farming sim style monster tamers.

We talked a bit about gender while I was just saying I prefer a set gender but nothing really against the "gender neutral" or nonbinary situation they had going on. So basicall that I don't prefer it but will be able to look beyond it. Now they had an announcement defending their LGBTQ way of thinking, it sounded that way and I noticed everything gender related being closed. Not sure if they got rather mean here and there, I might not notice that in english. Now them closing those talks especially the one where I got the feeling it didn't turned out bad yet, gives me a weird feeling that they might be overdoing it. That might not mean anything for the game I guess, but that explains that one guy and two character with their Sailor Moon Manga Eyes. It really only doesn't sit right with me that they closed those treads, despite mine appearing relative harmless in my eyes and kind of ballanced in opinions. I mean everything that is just a bit concerned that it affects writing or whatever, counts as being against it lately from what I hear or see. (more hear)

@@GymLeaderEd i didn't want to be rude, but now we have games like Aethermancer with full animated pixel art, the purpose of indie tamer games is to correct the issues of games like Pokémon

Aethermancer looks awesome, but some people would say it's "bad" because it's a roguelike, which a lot of people aren't interested in. Also, the devs have had a massive bump in revenue thanks to Monster Sanctuary, their previous work and a much larger team. I think the Moonstone dev was either solo, or had a very small studio. That said, I can understand why not having proper attack animations might be off putting to you, but to call them "lazy", is bullshit, there's clearly tons of love put into this game and do remember, it is a deck battler, which typically don't have crazy animations, since the focus is on the cards
