Today, my wife and I looked for grocery sales on meat online! Beef has become an exotic luxury! At Wiin Dixie hamburger on sale at $7,99, a pound steak round roast $16.99 a pound. We found pork on sale for $2.79 a pound, and we are thankful we can afford it. We are now on a strict Biden/Harris diet. At this rate, our 3% cost of living SSC increase may just cover us having chicken and eggs once in a while. Kamala says she will fix inflation once she is president. What's stopping her now? The local Kroger marks down rotisserie chickens to about four dollars after seven pm. On the other hand I'm paying 5.50 for an 18 box of large eggs. This is in a small Tennessee town a good distance from any metro area.

So, prices are not going to get lower, ever. The reason for higher prices is the reduced value of the dollar, because of inflation.
