I love eddie so much. His music is stunning, he has a heart of gold and such a sweet and beautiful soul. I'm honoured to say i had the pleasure of seeing moose blood live last october and then meeting them back stage afterwards

I always imagined those lyrics as meaning that the girl he (Eddy) wants to be with has the words "I love you" tattooed there and her ex boyfriend (who I'm assuming the girl in this song is hung up on) has a matching tattoo. And they obviously got each other's names tattooed on their arms. Basically Eddy wants the girl but she doesn't want him back and hasn't moved on from her last relationship. In one way it's beautiful, but in another way it's sad. That's just my guess though hahaha, who knows.

I sent this girl the Stay Beautiful EP version of this song. She had a boyfriend that she wasn't happy with and would hang out with me instead. She didn't know how to leave him, and this song really resonated with her. I don't think she's broken up with him quite yet, life's complicated and that was just last night, but I'll be there for her she does. 🙂

mauro conti emo is most definitely a genre and moose blood is most definitely emo. their blush album does sit on the more pop punk side of emo music, but there are obvious emo influences throughout the album (songs like spring and shimmer) also, their other album ikyim... is predominantly emo (songs like i hope you’re missing me and cherry) even though they are starting to evolve into a pop punk band as evident by their recent singles, there will most likely always be emo roots in their music. plus, their lyrics, even on songs that have a more pop punk sound, are very emo sounding. if you want to get into good quality emo music check out modern baseball and mom jeans..

mauro conti also, the music genre “emo” and the subculture of emo are two completely different things. the subculture is commonly associated with early to mid 2000s mainstream pop punk/pop rock bands (all time low, fall out boy, my chemical romance, panic! at the disco etc.) and more recently the alternative pop band twenty one pilots. since these bands are associated with the subculture they are also wrongly classified as emo bands when they really aren’t.
