The long awaited final installment of my video series documenting swapping out the straight axle front end in my 1970 Dodge D100 pickup truck frame for a Ford Crown Victoria front suspension. It’s been a long journey but we finally got there! Please watch my other videos to see everything I went through to make this swap happen! Mounts turned out good! Anyone looking to do this and wanting to save fab time, Outcast Autoworks makes the crown vic lower control arm mounts for the F100. Takes like 20 mins to modify a D100 frame and they bolt right on.

Have you used the F100 mounts on a D100? If so, what modifications did you need to make? Looks like the F100 mounts the lower CA pickup on the outside of the frame rail. The D100 has that pickup under or on the inside of the frame rail because its wider. Much wider. Entirely different scenario . Thx
