Moraine Lake the best place to watch the sunrise in Canadian Rockies. This is a must thing to do in Banff National Park. I had the opportunity to watch the sunrise on the 3rd day on our road trip from Jasper to Banff. Making this video for relaxation, soothing music for deep sleeping and stress relief. We woke up around 2am and drove from Banff to Moraine Lake and hiked the Rock Pile to find a good spot to watch the sunrise. First time we came here it was raining. So we came back the next day and got lucky.
Note: If you're thinking of going during summer time to watch the sunrise at Moraine Lake. You need to be in the parking lot before 5am. Do not go there later than that. Because as soon as the parking lot is full they will close the park and they will not let any cars get in unless cars leave.
Also, please check the weather forecast the night before.
