Even getting rid of the more industrial tracks death metal purests will still hate it but for people who aren't confined to a narrow box some of these songs aren't too bad.
This album really isn't as bad as people say it is. Couple of weak tracks but generally it's quite listenable. Ffs it's a morbid angel album man, they know what their doing.
Especially since I was looking for songs like this or Blades for Baal which is huge!! I feel like I'm going back to older albums and I like it :) I'm happy to have listened to this album and I'm even thinking of buying it!
No way dude! Trey dropped the ball massively on this album. It’s the ugliest of travesties because I was really looking forward to a MA release showcasing Tim Yeung’s efforts in the studio.
This album had some pretty sick tracks idk why everyone bitched so much. So they tried something new that wasn’t straight forward Death Metal,honestly I would rather have something like this that’s totally fresh and different then a typical Death Metal album.Its an unpopular opinion I know but I stand by it.
Yeah you’re right. I’m listening to it after not for along time. Maybe the industrial songs just stood out too much and that’s what people heard first. I don’t think the industrial songs are really that bad. Not that good either, but nothing to hate or condemn an entire album.
Tbh this album is pretty good in places. I listen to black and death only .. and i like the album mostly . Its not amazing but ive heard worse by far from others . Seems almost deathcore crossed with oldskool death metal . Under rated
Malifecent, infernal groove, that rythm, and repeating painfull 10 more Dead..... echoes in back like knife raping ears, broke flash and solos like wakidzashi sword coming to your heart....10 more dead
I think this shows Trey's ability to add to and work with anything, it could be entirely botched and His guitar work could have trolled the album. But he made the best with what he had to work with.
Sounds just like Carcass hahah This album is just getting weirder and weirder. OH NO, hockey-choir backup vocals at the refrain, kidsmetal. There's gonna be a bonus song where he raps if this continues... /cry
