Puca seemed more similar to Singularity given their shared hostility to humans, Puca actively killed off every novice Morgana sent and wanted to take Lukaon's power for himself while Singularity killed off every Bayo in the multiverse in order to merge it and render all life in it extinct. Both also get the last laugh upon death, Morgana and Lukaon die and Bayo3 also dies and goes to inferno.
Despite the bayo series absolutely fucked continuity we are SO glad origins exist its so pretty and the writting is great and the new faction is fun and FUCK THE OST IS SO GOOD more people should play this game legit imho one of the series' greats
In French, Amádán Dubh is the Amber Bishop Our bishop chess piece is called "le fou" which can be translated as fool A king's jester is also "le fou du roi"
If you want an action game where you summon fairies, look up Folklore. PS3 game where you collect different Fae creatures, assign them to one of the shape buttons, and can send them out as "attacks" while still moving your character around. A group of WW2 goblins becomes a charging bayonet formation, a Bugaboo charges up his fur to erect like spikes, a Barghest either swipes his claws or does a belly flop dive, a Brownie gives some sort of buff, and more.
@Jakesterpop1 Well, Druids are typically tied to nature like fairies are. Also, Merlin was described as a druid & since most of the Fairies of Avalon Forest are inspired by figures from Arthurian Legend...
I literally just replayed bayo 3 a couple of days ago. On top of that, I started rewatching your videos, in case I missed anything valuable about the demons and in hopes that you would return, what a coicy dink.
Missed you. I will say the fairies weren't my favorite part, as they kinda contradicted previously established lore, but I really liked your analysis on them
@@joey7199 he had no mention of them before, in fact it was pretty established that we had only angels and demons in this specific worldset, adding the fairies made no sense.
My theory is that because castling exists in chess where the king and rook interact, though, it is highly likely that they assigned it a rook because they needed to fill the slots of chess pieces lol
I did consider including Gunzelhark, Odradine and Fovylhund in the jokey history comic but I ultimately went against it since they were only really briefly touched on and I wanted to focus on what happened at the end of Arthur's rebellion.
Hindsight is 20/20 😅 Maybe in a future video I can go in depth on the journals in this game, though I don't know what I'd be able to add since the names of the generals are all original and I can't see to find similar names that I can liken any real world inspiration too.
All of the Bayonetta games's summons are in Enochian so I was able to find Enochian dictionaries online and match their spelling. As for the actual chant, there is a tweet from Abebe Tinari (director of CatLD) with the spellings of her chants.
For deciphering, I used this dictionary I found mainly as well as other random sources on Google. Enochian is such a difficult to translate language since it doesn't share a lot of our words, but it's fun to know what you can 😅 sacred-texts.com/pag/enoch1.txt
A little of both is what I meant now that you mention it. 😅 In some dictionaries, Enochian will use its own characters and not the Latin script like English uses. The other way is some words we use aren't directly translated. For example, the word monster doesn't have an Enochian equivalent. You may use the word CORONZON, which means demon or LEVITHMONG, which means beasts of the field. It's really up to how we interpret these translations we do have to create a semi-decent translation lol.
It could be me but i thu k you forgot a farie? I rmeber there being a farie named selkie or something ti that effect. I could just be confusing the long ice one though.
All the pawns are but it seems that being biped is a way to show status in their hierarchy since most of the biped faeries are ranked higher and they are also physically bigger.
