When Will yelled "Mom!" it reminded me of my Daycare Baby, when she woke up from nap, she yelled over the monitor "Jenna! I awake now!" 😂 She was 2. It was so cute and funny.

Mom of 10, here; after baby no. 4, things DO get easier. Don’t let the overwhelm stop you. Our big family is one of the biggest blessings this side of Heaven. 🌷 Lord bless you, Zach, Delilah, and babies. 🤍

My mom has 10 children and she said about the same, she said after two or three it just got easier each time! And we all love having multiple siblings, people always think that we are just saying that to make our parents happy but really my siblings push the most I think for more kids in the family!❤ it’s such a blessing and I love it so much!

I think mom mellows out a bit and the older kids are able to help out in more meaningful ways. There may be more to it, but that’s my short answer. 🌺

It is a huge breath of fresh air to see young Moms committed to raising functional humans.❤❤❤❤ I am 40 and pregnant with my 3rd child...so, when I wanted to explain to my boys that I have a baby growing in my belly, i thought using visual to explain stuffs. Well, RU-vid suggested your videos...my boys loved loved baby Will as a newborn, and they want me to get him😂😂😂😂. Ever since, I have been hooked to your content. Thank you for confessing your faith out loud, thank you for giving your all to your family. In a crazy, dillusional world we need more homemakers. ❤❤❤❤

This video was really encouraging to me - I’m 6 weeks postpartum with my third baby, my other two being boys under 5… even though this is all familiar now, I still feel so frustrated and stressed by all the demands on me and the fact that I have NO time right now for me or things I enjoy. I’m just surviving. And my boys are testing my patience every moment of the day. Thank you for always being both real and uplifting.

I have four children who are all adults now. For me the transition to baby number four was by far the easiest of all of them. I think because you're already fully flowing as a larger family and the addition of one more little one didn't seem to change that much of the day to day. I was also homeschooling at that time, and baby number four never lacked for one sibling or another to keep his eyes on which kept him happy and entertained. I really loved having four children, two boys and two girls. Boys are the oldest and youngest with the girls in the middle. 💙💜💜💙 Maybe you will have the same only in reverse. 💜💙💙💜. Your family is in my prayers! 🙏❤️

I just need to say this: Delilah your devotion to your faith and the Lord inspires me. I was not raised a Christian, neither am I going to church. But the way you talk about your faith, your trust in the Lord and the way that it affects your life on daily basis makes me want to lean in to it. Just by being you, you inspire people, you reach people and teach them. That's beautiful!

I felt like having kids has had the "reset button" effect in my life. Simple things like having a longer shower, doing my skincare routine, having a cup of coffee with my husband without interruptions (rare) - all those things feel like a treat. We take things for granted. Also having this joy that kids bring to our lives is a treat, a true blessing. Thanks for talking about "the mindset shift". I will try and do the same going on, whenever I'm feeling frustrated, I will turn my attention to the positives of that particular situation. We have so much to be grateful for! I hope all goes well with the baby delivery. Love from London

I had lots of anger towards my husband in my first year as a new mom and the Lord showed me where I was being ruled by a spirit of self pity. It took a lot of work with Holy Spirit to First identity when and how this was happening and then I was set free and able to work through having a different heart response to situations. I began by hearing the voice of self pity and just knowing that was what was happening. Now I am able to partner with my husband much better and when I’m having a moment I can just communicate that to him. Way way less frustration, less bitterness and more joy has come from this.

I love these chats! And thank you for sharing about your baby blues realization... my dad passed away jan 2022 and I only realized how deep down into depression I had been when I had started coming back to myself a little earlier this year. I didn't realize how internally dark I had been feeling until one day I noticed how good it felt to really belly laugh again (with my husband). It was then that I realized it had been a little over a year since I had truly laughed with my whole body and being instead of just my voice/mouth. These things can really sneak up on you and can take a while to be recognized.

Delilah you talking about your mindset shifts have helped me TREMENDOUSLY!! Whenever I’m in a moment of grumble, anger, overwhelm or whatever the feeling is I take a second to acknowledge that and then turn into something positive bc if we let it those feelings/emotions and mindsets can ruin our days if we don’t stop them in their tracks and choose to look over the other side and make it beautiful. Before I watched this video I put my 2 older kids down for a nap and told them that I prayed to the Lord for patience today as I have a 5 week old baby and I’m feeling tired. It's so true you often grow apart from people who are not in the same season in life, like yes, a lot of people don't understand what it is to be a mom, but then moms also don't understand people in their late 20s, who are still not married and don't have kids (or don't want), and it's totally okay! It's just two different seasons in life. God bless you and your beautiful family ❤❤

2-3 was the hardest transition for me. They were 3 and under and suddenly I didn't have a hand to hold on to each one😅 now pregnant with #7 and my oldest is 12. It's so different now having babies when you have a couple preteens that are eager to help. I understand your values and why you will never hire a nanny. Before I was able to move back to my hometown I did have a nanny. I work full time from home so it was necessary for a few hours a day, and I had no village. And OMG my nanny was a rock star. We are still very close friends and my son still adores seeing her on video chat. I am soooo lucky to have found the right person and I couldn’t imagine never knowing her. Life just gives you what you need sometimes. All that said, it’s beautiful watching my son grow this amazing relationship with his grandma now that I’m back home and she watches him while I am in meetings. 🥰 Nanny Grammy we call her. I highly recommend that people who do hire a nanny ask all the questions about values and how they handle all the weird things about parenting. I found the PERFECT person who turned out to be so perfect we are close even 6 months after I terminated her employment. 🥰

Wow Delilah, you look so pretty & glowing today! ❤ I had all my 4 kids when I young & it was hard at first but being young & not knowing how to be a Mom it was hard I had both my parents, thank goodness. They helped me a lot! I was a late baby. They were in their 40's when i was born. I had a sister & brother 13, & 11yrs older than me. So I was by myself after I was 5yrs or so. So I was spoiled rotten. I got most everything I wanted! And I loved them so very much! So I wanted my kids to have a young Mom & be able to take care of them & do things with them, because my health wasn't real good even then I knew. I had a lot of things go wrong with me. So i really enjoyed being with them when they were young. I went to work when my youngest was 4yrs old. Mainly just to get out of the house. But still needed the money! I never had a job before I was married. I got married at 19yrs. I had my first baby at 21'yrs, 2nd baby 23yrs. 3rd baby 25yrs at baby 4 27yrs. I am so thankful I had them young & healthy! So Delilah I understand when you say your so thankful to the lord you had your babies at a young age. I think were able to deal with things more when were young. I keep praying for you & baby to go through the birth & everything will be pleasant & loving & hope everything goes well! Thanks for sharing!❤☺️🫂🍄🌞🪻🌹💐🦋🌞

I really like what u said about a phrase/brain shift. My favourite mind shift to do is 'I get to' instead of 'I have to'. Like, 'I get to sit her breastfeeding my baby', 'I get to comfort my baby', 'I get to prepare dinner for my family' etc 💜 I also don't find myself Wanting to take much 'me time'. I work out of the home so any time I have spare I really Want to be spending as much of that time as possible with my baby girl 💕 and I take my time during the commute, during lunch break, during pumping etc 👍🏻

We do not attend church. Yet it is so important to me that my child receives daily interactions with God and faith and prayer. She hears me pray, and hears my Hail Marys spoken at night when I put her to bed, but not much else. Thank you for reminding me that it doesn’t need to be hard. Just take a little time here and there, and stay consistent.

I also get my period back immediately post parfum despite round the clock nursing! So relieved to hear that from another mom with a similar lifestyle.

Praise to the lord, but I would like to say to any mama reading/watching this.....baby blues and depression is a real diagnosis and medicine is a blessing that God has given us. Prayer is powerful, but cannot heal all depression. Seek help from both the lord AND a medical professional.

The easiest transition for me was probably going to two kids from one. If I had this third child closer to the second, that would have been easier, but because my two older children are so much older, it is weird having a newborn when I was so focused on the teen stage and out of the baby stage. I also was the first of all my friends to have kids and first in my family too. . .and was very lonely because of that as well, especially because I am an extrovert and it seemed like suddenly having a child made me not fun to hang out with anymore. I also had post-partum depression after my first but didn't realize it as well until after I had my second one and could reflect on the difference of attitude/emotions. I totally have been in that, "I'm a bad mom" position, though it has been a long time. Once my older boys hit about 12, I saw how much of a good mom I have always been. You're right that we all get into that mindset though. I remember not getting my period again until 4 months after birthing each baby. I remember bleeding for like 6 weeks after each (which I am doing now nearly 3 weeks postpartum). That is crazy you get your period right away again!

Yes to the age thing!! I’m a young (24 y/o) mom and most of my friends are in their 30’s but we’re in the same phase of life so it makes it easy.

1-2 was the same as 3-4 , my 4th baby is so cruisey , so was my second. I’m still working through the challenges that our 3rd gives us.

When our 4th was born , it all went really smoothly. It just gets easier the more you have… as weird as it may sound 😅 but everything will come so naturally because you have a lot of experience and have gotten used to the work. But! For me the most challenging was to slow down, because life goes by really fast when you’re so busy with all the kids. Especially when the oldest becomes a teenager 🤭 because its a huge change in your home and everyone needs to adapt to it. The younger kids won’t understand why the oldest stops playing games and will be out of the home more often. Thats a whole transition by itself. because its new and you have to figure it out together, just like when you have your first baby…

I have three under three 😊 One to two was the easiest! Though I love the chaotic fun that comes with three super cute people around the two to three transition found me juggling like never before in the first few weeks.

Postpartum was so hard after first baby! I also was so angry at hubby for unmet expectations and bitter and just an awful person to him... thank goodness for God helping me change for the better and realize that i was wrong to act this way to him! We are commanded to love our husbands!!!

0-1 was the hardest learning curve but being outnumbered (2-3) has been the hardest in terms of finding out routine again!

Same! 4 kids and everytime Within 2months after baby bam period is back Almost exactly same timing everytime. I wasn't one to be able to share the oh it didn't come for like a year 😳 like how! Exclusive breastfeeding I was doing to. Just didn’t share that experience like other mommas have. It did help me know quickly where I was in my cycle so it was a blessing too.

I loved this q and a! So much good stuff. Modelling asking for forgiveness, the psalms I’m with you on the ‘mindset change’. I read 1000 gifts by Ann Voskamp and it changed my life.. seeing God’s goodness in everything. That is what it is to be blessed by God. A gift is in the giving, not in the receiving. He gives us so much and we do have to take a minute to see what we have. Everything we have is from Him. There is nothing we can give him that he hasn’t already given us. I’m so glad that you are feeling the love ❤ prayer is powerful 💪🏻 praise the Lord !

Hahaha yes! I noticed last time on IG that lots of people miss interpret what you say. Tends to happen a lot. But I definitely understand because I'm practicing that myself. I think the reason us women get so upset with our partners is because we automatically know because it's naturally in us. But with men we have to tell them and sometimes it can be exhausting. Especially postpartum because we have gone through a drastic change and everything is overwhelming. I'm have 2yrs old & 3M and it was hard the first 2M. But because I had got a c-section (again) which this time it actually took a tole on my body + preeclampsia. But right after 2M till now, everything has gone pretty smooth. The only thing that is hard is bedtime for sure because it 2 separate bedtimes.

I have 4. Ages 7.5, 5, 3, and 1 this week. 4 was the hardest only because our 3rd is severely asthmatic and has been in the hospital A LOT over the last 2 years (16 times). Our 4th wasn’t planned and I honestly just feel like I haven’t left survival mode. Hopefully your transition is easier
