Great video. New to the channel. I want to start fishing big swimbaits. Was looking to get the Fury 795 and a Tutula 200. Going to try to come down there next year for a guide trip.
Austin u might of did something by accident in this video that Id say u might wanna try with some soft plastic baits its very popular in Japan but have done it myself and has worked and if they but if they would hit it dangling there while using a swimbait those fish will for sure hit a big soft plastic.

The k9 comes with 1/0 owner ST36’s I’m a big fan! I think a parabolic rod helps this bait A TON! It’s like a big crankbait! The 1/0 st36’s are hard to get right now so I’ve been using the 1/0 BKK spears. And I don’t throw the TK because it’s too small for my style.
@@Frostin_Austin ok I thought the klash 9 came with the same hooks as a Tiny klash. I throw the tiny clash. I'm not sure what the tiny clash comes with but I think it's the sty-35 MF by owner. Absolutely love those hooks on a crankbait but for some reason I have a hard time hooking up with the tiny klash. Those hooks are great if you want to run it into wood with the lip on it doesn't get hung up but as far as hookup percentage they're bad for me. Of course a huge fan of the ST 36s. I saw a video where Butch Brown talked about using the bronze round bend gamakatsu on his deps glides and have been experimenting with them this year and love them. The only problem is they're a little longer than the STX 36 is and they get hung up if you come near cover. Thanks for the response!
Dude, I have multiple videos of me catching big fish on Smith Mountain with big swimbaits. They eat the crap out of them there! Almost won the big bass tour event a few years ago there on a Gan Craft 230 with a 6.5lber.
I guess I’m gonna have to buy one of them damn klash 9 baits if you DON’T quit catching fish on it. And I know these Kentucky Lake and Pickwick fish are gonna laugh me right out of the boat when I throw it at them 😳😁😂😂
