MORE BLASTED OIL LEAKS 

I am sat here looking at this video, hearing everything you say about not leaking unless someone who doesn’t know what they are doing and fucks it all up. No one has ever done work on my engine, I am at 178k but yet I have a leak. Carrying it into a Toyota mechanic in a few days to inspect it and see what happened.

I ended up finding a crack behind number 4 injector on my valve cover, was very hard to see and only found it because I gave it a good wash and quick drive to dry it off. Small oil sweating around the crack, did a dodgey and put some good engine sealer over it, hasn’t leaked a drop in 5,000km’s thankfully

Great video as usual Anthony. My 150 prado has developed an oil leak at rear of rockercover after doing 230.000km For new genuine rocker cover and gasket plus fitting nearly 900$. Could have been overtightebed in the past from non Toyota workshop ?? Can't prove 😤 Expensive fix

Is the cover made of plastic?

Hi Anthony, have you heard of replacement aluminum valve cover? Are those worth getting?

Shame on toyota for making a plastic valve cover..gotta replace mine cause of cracking
