You're not meant to fight them in practice mode, you just need to put an AI controlled enemy and the stage takes it over. Also there's a master hand character
Epic vid, Boss!Mayu is just a re-vision of a Omega Zero boss from MMZ3 And here is something about Boss!Astra: Her shield block damage 5 times, If it broke Astra lose 33% of her heath. After each shield broke Astra start using a new Ultimate spell. When you are not on lv1, you can attack Astra thru gaps between attack. IF you are on lv1 where Astra have no attacks gap, there is mostly just 2 viable strats: 1. Parry the projectile to reflect them back 2. Stay away from Astra and dodge 5 "normal" spells, after that she will use and "Ultimate" that cover large area then go into weakened state where her shield take double damage. You will try to dodge the ultimate spell then go into damage her. Star Ultimate: stay way from center, jump up to avoid shockwave and airdodge thru the light pillar. Sun Ultimate: get to the center, see which side the sun fall down and dodge it by running to opposite side. Black Hole Ultimate (which didn't show in this video because you didn't get to phase 3): STAY AWAY from center, dodge the incoming floating black matter, this spell is the easiest one to insta kill you.
I don't know the rest of pyribit but i believe the time limit is a expert mode thing, also pyribit is from kirby triple deluxe &besides from that this is with 2D sprites instead of 3D models this is a 1 to 1 recreation of the original boss fight
Except for Marx’s dashing and summoning the squeaks, I recognized all the bosses’ attacks from other games. Also, my current favorite Kirby game would be Planet Robobot right now(or at least one of the return to dreamland quad).
I'm a little disappointed nobody pointed out the level 1 Mayu voice lines were all from Omega in Mega Man Zero, the final boss of one of the games. It also looks like a few attacks were inspired from it, too.
Me if I fight Astra Astra:*uses the Solar Spirit bomb move* "Your Already dead " Me: *Screams for dear life as I get evaporate into nothing, after getting hit with the Solar Spirit bomb move*
I think the special interaction between Golden Ronald and Hikaru was the crash followed by the math problems. The developer knew how overpowered Golden Ronald was so they had to make a failsafe somehow.
Nice to see you fight my boss form. Bit weird how I’m I’m not playable yet astral brith void is, but not a boss. Also odd how no one made a stage for the gatekeeper boss fight from story mode. Maybe one day, I’ll be playable and be able to fight the gatekeepers.
I think you should play the Genocide route first before you do the Rivals of Aether Sans boss battle stage. That way, you'll have more of an understanding of why Sans is so popular in the first place. Once you've played that, I'd recommend using Sandbert for this boss purely because of his up special.
Dracula is in reference to I think his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, minus the exchange between him and Clairen. That's completely original I think. Sans is a reference to the Undertale Genocide Route, minus the fact that you can play with up to four players. From what I remember, the original Undertale was strictly single player. Unfortunately, all of his attacks from the original game are present, but since you've never went to the Genocide route before, I don't think I want to spoil anything else for you. Pyribbit I think is a reference to Kirby Triple Deluxe, judging by the background music during the boss. I've never played Kirby Triple Deluxe, but I do recognize many of not each of the Kirby games. The Marx boss fight is a reference to his appearance in Kirby Super Star Ultra. The Expert Mode is his Soul form he gains after crashing into the Nova he wished upon in the main game. The black orb thing is likely in reference to his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where he does a similar attack. I think the attack at 23:11 is a Rivals exclusive attack. Tinker Knight is a reference to his appearance in Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope and Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows. The only thing that isn't a reference is the fact that the Tinker Tank, the giant machine he uses comes out of the ceiling. Normally once you deal with Tinker Knight's first phase, the floor would collapse, and the Tinker Tank would come out of the shadows. Daroach is a reference to his appearance in Kirby: Squeak Squad. The only things that are not in reference to his appearance in Squeak Squad is the dialogue exchange and I think the army of rodents he summons. I actually kind of wonder of Sakurai saw this boss battle. He'd probably give it a DCMA if he saw it. Nintendo does often take down fan projects. I actually kind of wonder if anyone ever made a Kirby Squeak Squad rom hack. It'd be cool if each world/area was a different game from Kirby Super Star Ultra.
have you ever played shovel knight yet? if not you need to get treasure trove because it includes the lost shovel and all of the stand-alone games. (including one stand-alone that is not able to be purchased by itself)
I would like to say 2 things, 1: Boss!Mayu Lv1 is a reference to Omega Zero from Megaman Zero 3. 2: There's a Master Hand in the workshop, but isn't really good of an enemy
I wonder how many people noticed that the combo Mayu does from that "teleports around you" nonsense seems to pretty much directly reference Omega's combo attack thingy (take note of the uppercut that ends the combo especially)
2:04 What is that song, I've heard it before in old OLD Gmod server, I remember from when I was little playing on those servers, I've been trying to find out what it is for years. Please tell me what that song is I beg.
@@Aksen0076 Well, it came from probably the most notorious piece of ancient shovelware I know, that being Hong Kong '97. Usually it's thrown around as a joke song, such as its recent use in Mario's Mystery Meat.
um...check the developer of ronald's RU-vid channel...he has a video about his awakening form...and how the special encounter with Hikaru is supposed to go...you havent done it properly. but good video btw
It asked you a math question in the window, 621/9. We all know what e621 is (most of us at least) because, you know, Hikaru is a furry character But the funny thing is, 621/9 is 69.
i actually find Mayu harder than Zetta, simply because i am way shittier at dealing with Mayu's projectile hell than with dealing with Zetta's highly telegraphed hellstorm that you can kinda just parry 95% of.
