@@gorillasinthemist2893 yes, im a labour voter and think he should be in prison too. So should prince andrew, and rishi sunak for his blatant and colossal corruption, and boris johnson for installing Russian intelligence assets into parliament

How many of their Mates and family got the heads up to bet on July election. This needs police investigation into who placed bets for July election and if they have links with government
All bookmakers should insist on identification when these wagers are paid, a lot would have tendered CASH so they could not be traced , this is only the tip there are many more involved, NAME THEM AND SHAME THEM
@@GaryV-p3h The Tory Party are the only Party to save Britain and make it great again. The working class dont matter. They should be banned from voting.
At least we can be grateful it was their own money they were gambling with now they've gambled all ours away on their insane brexit, the Rwanda fiasco, PPE unfit for purpose, Truss' mini budget & all the other catastrophes over the past 14 years.
Thing is, it'd be fine if it was a bet between friends. But the sheer casual arrogance of going down the betting office is a perfect symbol of Tory arrogance.
Can’t take credit for inflation being low when you blamed external factors for making it high in the first place Also inflation is set to rise, and you lot know this and that’s why you called an election so you can say “look how good we are” and then when it does rise again, up to around 3% you’re going to then say “look how bad Labour are”
You're spot on, mate. The inflation is all because of how countries handled Covid. They took credit for the furlough scheme, which caused high inflation, and now they're saying they hit their target. Like if it was to do with any of their actions when it's coming down but external factors were to blame for the rise of it.
Angela is the reason to be hopeful that a Labour government will not just be another 'blue' one. She has empathy, compassion and the will to do things for people. Let's hope that things will get better. Oh, meanwhile . . . OBLITERATE THE TORIES!
The main problem in rentals isn't repairs, it's the fact that millions of essential workers such as teaching assistants and careers simply CANNOT secure a tenancy without a guarantor (something which m,any of them cannot secure either) Forget about right to buy, we need REGULATION and RIGHT TO RENT!
@@paulgibbon5991 If a property is long term empty the council can charge a higher penalty rate of council tax, which increases with how long it's been empty, up to 4x normal if it's empty 10 years. Though I think this probably should come in faster and be a higher penalty.
The normal process in any organization if serious alegations are raised, is 'without prejudice' suspension. Also they do not have to actually commit a crime; bringing the organization into disrepute is sufficient grounds for sacking. Sunak again shows himself to be spineless.
If they are prepared to bet on privileged information. Just imagine what else they are willing share and sell behind closed doors for their own benefit. It's scary to think what other sensitive information they could be leaking to foreign powers, investment banks, or to family members in advance of major government projects etc. This also shines a shady light on the gambling commission as well. If you win a big bet you best understand you are getting investigated these days. It's almost like insurances now where the broker looks for any reason not to pay out.
Many decades ago I worked on Saturdays in a betting shop while doing an undergraduate degree in Probability. They were called "Turf Accountants" in those days. The Turf Accountant told me: "Son, never bet on a horse that talks." i.e. don't bet on anything where a human can manage the result or know the result in advance.
When there is flash photography in a video there is a warning. Please could you offer a warning before you put Michael Gove's face on so I can turn away in future?
"if it was one of my candidates they'd be gone and their feet would not have touched the floor". You can say all you want mate but we all know that is not a true statement.
The way "betfair" works (if you dident know) your robbing the man in the street.....not a company.........Not like the big 4 who I feel allso feel might be out soon.
i don’t understand what’s the investigation for. i work for a gambling company. For someone to place a bet on something or a team they work for is simply illegal.. no but
Sunak should have asks the suspects a simple question. Did you place a bet that the election would be called for July? An admission or refusal to answer should have led to immediate suspension. The silver lining in this is that Sunak will pay dearly for his total lack of action.
Man I thought Australian politicians were pros at answering questions they wanted to be asked instead of the one they were actually asked. British politicians are on another level! Edit: the woman at 11 minutes is very genuine. She answers the questions honestly and directly. That’s the kind of person I would vote for.
I can’t believe the Tory focus is on whether a crime has been committed. What sort of party lets candidates off with an error of political judgement like having a flutter on the election date when your own party is calling the election?
I wonder if The Huge Error of judgement was allowing these three any kind of responsibity in government in the first place. They certainly don't look as if they would put country before self...particularly when it comes to a bit of a nosh!
2:24 Keir Starmer: "If it was one of my candidates, they'd be gone and their feet would not have touched the floor." With all due respect to Starmer, shouldn't the investigation be finished, and guilt proven, before they get treated like that?
As usual they'll get away with it because as we all know the laws don't apply to them particularly when it comes to their main addiction ..... Money.... preferably ours. Thank goodness they're being replaced.
How useless is this Labour woman, did not answer that council tax issue at all and basically said she doesn't care. Both Torry and Labour are incompetent.
They don't answer questions. This is the most off-putting thing about British politics. But on the issue of council tax, it's going be a tricky one as many councils are on the verge of bankruptcy. One thing Labour *MIGHT* be concealing is a redistribution of funding. I say concealing because they're chasing disaffected Conservative voters. Remember Rishi Sunak boasting to Tory members in Royal Tunbridge Wells about taking money from deprived areas and giving it to affluent Tory areas?
Do these people not understand how sick everyone is of hearing the same old spin ? Hopefully his wish will come true and the nation really will judge the Tories on their record.
Just a thought - mps crooked betting with NO upperlimits. Shoplifting limit is at present 200 quid before considered criminal - beware shopkeepers - the thieves will really feel entitled now - well done tories - what great role models. Cannot wait to see the back of them.
"we can't build, like for like, on the flow of council houses sold". So you just admitting that you cannot build 300,000 new housing units per year that meet the minimum housing standards.
