It's always fascinating to see elements of the Disney Infinity we almost got. I wonder if some of these concepts will be integrated into the Disneyfied Fortnite.
I think, based on everything we're learning, it would be hard to imagine Disney not looking at legacy work (such as Infinity) and not saying, "yeah we need more of that!"
3:20 Because of the technological design and Buzz Lightyear pallet, it must be part of early development. Remember, Disney Infinity used to be a sequel to Toy Story 3’s Toy Box mode
I think you're right. Something for "Star Command" would make sense for this too if they had a spin off game planned prior to it becoming Toybox and eventually Infinity.
Sweeeet! Knowing now that Infinity was initially a sequel to Western Town from the Toy Story 3 Game, I'm curious if, at all, the FortniteXDisney collab is inspired by Disney Infinity and it serves as an honorary Disney Infinity 4.0.
I've uncovered so much about what was scrapped but I have a feeling we'll be seeing even more concept art and learning new things we never knew before.
Thanks for the clarification. And yes, it's possible SOME of this artwork had been posted before, but there will be a lot of new stuff as well from what I'm told.
Yay new video and another video to make me sad that the game got cancelled bit thanks for the video their dick heads for doing that so many people were excited and boom the stoped making such a great game and magical game
That all said, remember it was never the developers who wanted to stop working on the product. In any case, this is amazing we're getting to see all kinds of new content from their development. I love it.
Unfortunately not. These are concept art from early development. However, check out my videos on the Epic/Fortnite universe. THAT may very well be the spiritual successor to Infinity.
2:03-2:17 I know what they can do to quadrupeds if Disney infinity ever returns. They can just make them like the mount toys like that Tarok power disc where you can charge at enemies like the monsters characters for their standard attacks. They can also sprint. Simba can roar as his range attacks. For tools they can use tape or a strap for something like blaster for example. I think they should have done that in the first place in my opinion.
I think they could've made it work as it was explored multiple times, but ultimately put it on the low priority list. We never thought underwater/flying characters would work until we received Nemo and Dory in 3.0. So there was always ways to innovate for sure.
@@InfiniteerAdventures I thought at the time if you play an underwater character you would just swim around (which you do in the playset) but not in the toy box. Plus I just saying they must have missed a serious good opportunity.
