Hey brother, thanks for the comment. It's working so far for me lol. Now I don't have very much experience with a bunch of tires, but the hyraxes I compete with are great and the mounting part of the rubber is pretty tight. Here is an affiliate link, plus the foam is much better then stock. Good luck and thanks for asking! amzn.to/3J4iPyA
I just did this, but I don’t understand why the driveshaft needs to be cut. It didn’t bind up or catch. If anyone is watching this, make sure you don’t strip the driveshaft pin, as some people have trouble with it. You will also need two extra nuts to mount the shocks
Great video, the Gen7 was my first crawler and this brings back memories! Check out the video where I used the BPC chassis to build a cool LCG rig! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KQjPPDHAivI.html
If you look on the website the photos the links are in total different location compared to manual and what you did 😂 would that be the extended wheel base? Either way 🤷♂️🤷♂️ good. I know old video but im dusting off the gen 7
The red cats are great for the money, almost got one but got lucky and I was able to get a trx4 sport. Great video my man, that will help some people starting out for sure.
Appreciate the comment Scott. You know it doesn't worry me because wet is never the plan lol, but I could see it being an issue for sure. Although I have seen it run under water, I think the reasoning there is no case, maybe due to the overall price? If so then I'm totally cool with that too! I mean a ready to run under $200 is pretty groovy 😎 Thanks brother
