Just got home from Best Buy with 3 of these bad boys. I have to get my PC upgraded but dangit, least I have my monitors sorted. Reading comments, seems you are probably still very happy yeah?
@@kylefrandsen5507 excellent overall, would not use the monitors for office work though as my LGs are better for overall sharpness on text . But for racing, I’m all good for the price point
Your rig is inspiring! Any chance you can share the distance between the edges of your left and right monitors /___\. I’m building my setup in a closet and don’t know if I have enough width to run triples.
Nice setup mate. Question why you went for the flat version of G5? I am in the process of upgrading to triple setup my self, so I was just wondering if you had any bad experience with the curved ones.
I think it's way better for triples when both are set correctly, curved allows for the edge of displays to be the same distance as the center from our eyeballs. This allows for a more realistic fov, and allows you to pull the sides closer as well@@sparkyplug28
This is the thing, my dilemma being : To use 32 x 3 screens or 27 x 3. (I already got one 27") I just don't know if 27 inches might be too small vertical size wise. Or is the 32 x 3 better
I went with 3x27 cause i had one already and regreted it man! Better to sell the 27 for something and get a discount on the 3x32. the vertical extra space makes a huge difference! This is if you have the space to do it of course. Cheers
Hi, i see that uou previously had flat tripples right? Are these g5’s curved a better experience? I’m looking to ger from a single 55 oled to triples but hesitant to get flats or curved and also if g5 is good enough or should i consider g7’s…
@@mrcod2083 yes, curved will make a difference. the difference will be that you cant align curved screens 100% correct and the picture will always look distorted. no matter how hard you try or what your good simracing mate tells you... its impossible to do if the sim does not support correction for curved screens.
