Still not complaining but also still a bit confused... I had no idea so many people had pet frogs! Also, I never thought I would be able to identify and name so many different frogs. What a strange few months... Love you all.

Yeah, these make me feel uncomfortable, frogs and toads aren't toys to play with. It's one thing to have one as a pet, and create its own little accurate environment, its totally something else to fiddle around with them for the hell of it.
anther thing, don't touch them unless you hands are wet :( the "salt" in your fingers can damage their skin and it's not healthy, if they're wet it's fine

I use a blue glove when feeding my frogs so they don't associate my fingers and hands with food and instead the glove so I can boop them and stuff later after feeding and not be bit 🌹

Hey there! Don’t worry about the African clawed frog at 3:15! His name is obi! His owner is treating his bloat as best they can with the help of a vet (had some of the fluid drained and is giving him medicine so it doesn’t spread) he’s doing a lot better than he was actually! I think the environment is a little empty so he doesn’t hurt himself on anything because they can’t do much for the bloat in his legs :) I suggest looking him up!

Where are yall living with these friends cos in England your lucky if you see a few and there only tiny but you see loads of tadpoles or at least i used to when i walked my dog near this pond i just want to make some more froggy friends :,(
If you ever come to Ireland, there are a lot of baby frogs here! I only ever saw adult frogs in England and that's when they fell into our water collecter and almost drowned but we managed to save them :)!! We had to take care of them for a few days until they were healthy and honestly i can say that from that experience frogs make great pets. Anyways there are lots of frogs here in the in Ireland:D!
I live by the lake and there was a bit of rain once making all the tadpoles wash up into little puddles of water. The puddles were drying up so I took a few hundred along with a toad bby (toadpole???)and a some water snails. I fed them a variety of things and changed their water every so often. They all are grown and living at the lake again.
Fun fact about my home, there's 2 bathrooms in my house, both are filled with decorations of specific animals. One is for ducks, the other is for frogs and toads. My mother, who sadly passed 2 years ago, collected the frog bathrooms decor. That bathroom is one of the only things I've got to remember her, because my father didn't like her and got rid of everything else. She collected things for it for 13 years, maybe more. When i was 7 or 8 we had a tiny pool and a frog laid eggs in it so we had tadpoles- i named the biggest Greg U-U but my mom said we couldnt keep them T^T
before you let your frog touch anything make sure you wash it first, preferably with fresh water. you have to remember that they absorb things thru their skin and it is very painful for them if they touch chemicals.
One time when I was in choir class, we went outside and I found a toad. Once we went inside I still had the toad and the teacher went "you brought a live animal inside the school?! Nope, put it back outside" And I got sad but put em' back outside. We named him Sans (we thought it was funny).
Ok frogs are great, but you gotta stop holding frogs. The oils from your hands irritate their skin, and it stresses them out when you hold them or do more than just a head brush
@Mynti Girl Nah broski, it doesn’t do much. The most you can do is wear gloves, but even then they don’t like to be pet by strangers. It’s best to already have a domestic frog who trusts you, and just lightly brush the top of the head.
