I understand broken English by Native Americans in the Old West because they're usually learning a language that is new to them with new words and grammar. By the time this story takes place, even if they still speak the old tongues of their tribes they should know English as well as any white men. And yet they're still better off than black people in comics of those days.

17:48- Well, Speedy's origin did get a reboot in Silver Age though. Like adopted by Native Americans from a local reservation after his forest ranger dad died to save them.

I would have assumed the Samson guy would have died in a hair related way. Sure it's not actually how Samson died, but Achilles didn't exactly die electrocuted either.

"The Case of the Golden Mummy" is such an intriguing title! Is it a "case" as in, the job GA + Speedy worked on and solved, or is it about the mummy's "case" as in, the elaborate coffins Egyptian mummies are in? Like, does it have a secret panel in it, concealing valuable gems? Does it have a secret treasure map carved or scratched into the underside of the lid? Did someone try to hide a dead body in it? The possibilities are endless!

I always thought that Speedy was an afterthought, because he was a sidekick. it's interesting to find out that he was there since the very begining.

The concept of a car named the ArrowPLANE literally broke something inside of me.

Also this took a few minutes... They're not a historical society with coincidentally weird names... The weird names is what got them together, but instead of the "name like historical/mythological figure club" they called themselves a "historical society". Reminds me of anime where people can't form some weird hobby club they want. Like say, they wanted to be the "Yu-Gi-Oh club", but the student council shot them down, so they call it the "Playing Cards appreciation society".

The no killing rule is one Ollie seemed to adopt later. Arrow's initial story arc is about how a hero can't expect to be trusted if he acts as an executioner. So at least the actions fit with the story.

Pretty sure that Green Arrow and Speedy were created as filler characters. Characters for the sake of characters in an anthology and only stayed around because of thier popularity. Oliver Queen was made as the filler hero and Speedy exists because Robin.

13:20 Back when this comic was created, the Bible was widely accepted as history instead of being relegated to "mythology" along with the ancient Pagan religions of the great ancient civilizations (yes, including Ancient Egypt!). In fact, some of us still accept these Ancient Scriptures as true historical accounts that each have at least some historical truth to them. After all, wouldn't it be insane to serve and worship a God(s) if the worshipper didn't actually believe in them?

This will be fun. More so since I been enjoying TV Arrow, It be nice to see what changed and what stayed the same.(a comment before I watch the ep at all).

I actually created my own storyline(Inspired by how you do yours) and right when I finish Season 2 I find you doing yours again. and also your new one kinda reminds me what I was going to do for season 3. In theory the plan to have each of them die via their historical counterparts method of death does make sense with who he planned to pin the crime on, for the rest of them no real way to convince people it was a suicide, but have it be seen as a case of 'he went crazy' and decided they should all die in such a way...well from the outside I could see the public thinking he just went completely insane and took himself down in his madness. Though it would have been nice if there was any reason behind him deciding NOW was the time to kill them off, someone having noticed something wrong with the accounts or having noticed him buying things he shouldn't be able to afford and him saying it was a gift or some such to give him an actual reason to have planned and exacted such a murder plot.

The murder plots of The club might be outrageous, but would fit the profile of a historian serial killer.

Missed Joke/Opportunity to be a smart ass ;) : Caesar wasn't Julius Caesar's family name. It was Julius. Caesar was his cognomen (closest thing to modern names would be a nickname, but it was also hereditary). His first name was Gaius btw.

This may cause a debate but I have a small insight into the "projection car seat into club window". Both archers seem to have great eyes, a way of projection (may explain why aside from a few times they NEVER miss their target) and practical physics. People may critique both Archers for their decisions, but I'd like to think trajectory, physics and hands on mathematics kind of being pushed to outlandish super-hero status.

I must say I don't know that much of Green Arrow and Speedy, but I'm pretty sure I like the origin that's in Green Arrow Year One comic, one of the only Green Arrow comics I read and liked really. SO I havestarting to look for good comics but don't know where to start.

Okay so in Girls und Panzer the member's of the school's Historical Club name themselves after Historical Figures such as Erwin Rommel (she's my favorite of the three). That'd throw him off. Also they drive a StuGIII (aka an artillery cannon on tank treads) so that would help too.
