We for sure have a hardcore spooky mug reseller at the Homegoods nearest to me. There is never anything there. I have gone to other Homegoods and it isn't an issue. I asked the associates and they confirmed a lady comes in and buys the entire stock of any mugs they put out so I would assume you are having a similar issue with someone clearing the shelves.

Lol when you said “school zones” my brain also went to “they were cones!” 😂 please please please- when baby boy starts going to preschool and then elementary school- please give goodies (his clothing I feel like is an unsaid thing- I already know he’s gonna BRING it lol) so that the administrators and faculty know y’all approve of and like Halloween! Out here in California when I was growing up, in the late 80s-early 90s-Halloween was IT at school! We had a costume parade through all the classrooms and we got to see everyone’s costumes and we got candy and it was a WHOLE thing! And partly I think that’s why I am unapologetically this way 🤷‍♀️. So fast forward to my kids in school experience- they cut out a lot of holidays…they kept thanksgiving weirdly enough but Halloween was a no no. SO! I made candy “poppers” with paper towel rolls cut into tiny tubes- I threw in a few tootsie rolls and then wrapped them in Halloween themed tissue paper and twisted the ends and added ribbon and spider rings. I made enough for everyone in my kids classes annnd a big one for each teacher with their name on it annnnd the office staff and principal lol. We were unapologetically the halloween family lol. They brought them to school in Halloween bowls and wore Halloween themed clothes. My kids were the stand-out-only Halloween kids but u know what? The school eventually started allowing Halloween to creep on in there…they did a candy exchange…then the next year did a costume contest…now everyone can wear their costumes again for Halloween. The prohibition was over lol! We had to fight for it! I’m telling ya lol! Long story but wanted to encourage people in this next gen of Halloween parents-BE THAT MOM & DAD LOL! Do all the things despite everyone else! I appreciate you Jade & Dallas! And all the fellow Halloweenies out there! ♥️♥️♥️ Edit: p.s. lol I bought the spider and green slime from CVS for my brothers birthday- it did not disappoint 😂 and it smelled like the 90s slime. I don’t know how they did it but it was a whole experience lol

I decorate July 5th sometimes earlier if I need a mood boost. Spring and summer is when my seasonal depression hits, so sometimes I need a fall/halloween bedroom lol

I found tons of spooky mugs at Winners last week, it was hard to decide which ones to bring home. I'm in Canada but Winners is part of the TJMax/Marshalls/Homesense group of stores.

I always do my halloween decorating the first week of September..which stays up til Thanksgiving.. my favorite time of the year! Love you vids jade!!

Our Target had the $10 fleece blankets. They were in a different area at our store this year. Not by bedding but more in the middle by the home decor with pillows. Cute designs. 😀🎃

My HomeGoods/TJ Max stores have good mugs this year, but they're pretty picked over for sure. Target is so late putting things out this year! Mine just started putting things out this week. I didn't love anything, but I did get the Jack O'Lantern pillow and 2 of the little birds that they sell. They have pretty cute mugs as well.

Here in Austria it's really difficult to get Halloween, gothic or spooky stuff. But I it's better that way, otherwise I would just buy piles of stuff every year, even though I don't really need it. Yesterday I was at TK Maxx, there was a little bit of Halloween stuff. Not even half as much as at your place, but more than nothing. But the stuff I like in you Haul or hunting videos most of course I just can't find anywhere. This year I try to make pappmaché lanterns. Hope they turn out the way I want.

We didn’t even have as much at our local CVS as you did, sadly. Our Walgreens was just starting to put things out, so I may go back one more time. We’re house haunting (hunting) right now, so I don’t want to put out all of our decorations, in case we find one soon. But I have some cute pumpkin-y and vintage-y decorations in our kitchen to make it feel cozy, and some witchy decorations up in the living room. All of it will be easy to throw back in bins if we need to move quickly!

I got my ghosty bag from Bath & bodyworks. Haven't needed to buy mugs. I only buy if one has broken during the year. None broke, none needed.

Was out Halloween shopping and went to the first haunted trail of the season. Saw a wasp flying around the bushes at the shopping center and yelled Jade! like a loon.

Im officially DONE buying this year for Halloween everything is put up and i love it. What i dont really love is Christmas decor is already coming out amd now i have to rush and pick what i like for Christmas even though its MONTHS away. I swear by the time Christmas is here itll all b regular decor Hard to enjoy any cheer when retails pushing everything out early for sales😅

I found a ton of spooky mugs at Burlington! I got horror film ones, caldrons, in your face Halloween! Also a store called Gabes had great ones too. All 5.99 and under. Most of mine were 3.99 ea.

Unfortunately, I have noticed this year that the « conservative » stores (hobby lobby, Walmart, Home Goods) are heavily leaning toward «autumn » decor with less Halloween specific decor. I know hobby lobby publicly declared they were not going to sell Halloween decor anymore, but it seems that a lot of the stores are way less spooky this year. 😢

i’ve been looking for spooky mugs since they started putting things out and they don’t have much at all this year! i got one really cool spooky vintage looking mug from Marshall’s but haven’t seen even the same one since i’ve been back.

This year for spooky mugs I bought two. One of them is black with little vampire fangs that says Love At First Bite from Ross. The other one was dark gray and said Big Witch Energy from Joanns.

I've been looking for that clock at Home Goods for almost 3 months now. It's not available on line and havent had anyone see it in the store except for you and another guy.

I haven't seen much for spooky mugs either. I don't think you missed them. I just think they didn't get many.

I gotta figure out which Walmart in the Dallas area actually puts out a full Halloween. I’m in a small town on the east side of the area and the two closest ones just seem to have a teeny tiny seasonal area in front and they can’t have the whole Halloween there based on the ones I saw in California. Also, if either of you are handy maybe you can grab a tube of E-6000 and take Mr Skeleton to the garage or some well ventilated area and do a little surgery. Just get some painter’s tape or clips or something to hold him while it dries. And once Lucian gets bigger you must be wary of those punkin patches… if they’re like the ones in California, they’ve mastered the fine art of nickel-and-diming people, parents especially, because you wanna get photos, you want to buy a pumpkin, you want to play the games, the kid wants to go into the bouncy houses… it’s a vortex of the worst kind. As for plans… we’re in a new area, still buying replacements for stuff we decided was too old to ship here (such as the TV), we dunno if we get trick-or-treaters, we dunno if our new church location even does trunk or treat. I do plan to decorate and find a way to enjoy my favorite Halloween viewing, which would be tame by your standards. I don’t deal with really scary movies well. And we will be making seasonal foods, of course. But I have my fingers crossing that we’ll finally have a real Autumn… I had them as a kid and that was only a few hours east of here.

I knew in the first visit it probably wasnt out yet, but there are other sections seperate from the front halloween aisle that have some nice things. Its kind of where they keep they straw bales. There are a bunch of mugs and stackable mugs, a couldren and another wax nelt thing with very delicious wax melt stuff. Not to mention the cook ware. There is a ton at walmart this year
