Thank you so much for showcasing my games! I really appreciate it! I am still working on 2D Adventure, but it is taking a while since I have a lot of ideas I am trying to implement and I want to ensure that each level is unique and memorable. I am a big fan of your work and you were a huge inspiration for me early on Scratch. Again, thank you!
I used to play games made by ToadFan all the time when I was 8, and now I'm older. I still watch his videos to this day. Thanks Toadfan for being a great part of my life.
@@Jack.Is.Cool. scratch was made in 2007 and idk when he played it but ima make a guess and say like 2008 or 9 and its 2023 so he should be like around 24 at max
@@NaraSherko Well, the entire point of Scratch is to be a beginner, educational software before moving on to other more professional softwares. The reason Scratch is so amazing is due to not only achieving that, but also allowing for stuff like the projects in the video.
So nice to see people still making stuff on Scratch these days! I made a remix of Paper Minecraft called Paper Mariocraft back in the day. It's wonderful to see such creativity from people still going strong!
In the description of Mario maker 4, it has a link to level codes people have uploaded. There are so many uploaded every day. I love the game, it genuinely feels official. Awesome video man.
These are incredible! The sheer variety and quantity of parts, items and more in SMM4 is very impressive. Seashine Island and 2D Adventure look super fun. All of these just seem super impressive and you basically never see good fangames like this on bigger engines!
Thank you so much for playing my game! It’s a good thing that you didn’t play super Mario z 2! Edit: also thanks to duckgoose9254, nightcat28, and meow gobo for TONS of help on that project!
it's great to see quality scratch projects getting showcased! keep up the great work, also nice editing :p btw mario490's mario games are also awesome experiences, especially the most recent ones! you should mention those if you ever make another video about scratch mario games
Great video! I'd love to see this for other franchises, you know: Sonic games on Scratch, Kirby games on Scratch, MegaMan games on Scratch... heck, I'm wondering if there are any Mother games on Scratch.
I love all these games :). I used to be a part of the Mario community on scratch. Made the games for years(mario490). Maker 4 is honestly one ot the most amazing projects I've seen for scratch.
Hey, so a couple things I wanted to point out if you ever happen to make another episode to this: There is a truly mind-blowingly high quality game releasing soon by a user called NIghtcat28, the game is called Super Mario Revolution. I myself am also developing a pretty decent fangame called Super Luigi Galaxy that just had the first demo released.
It's truly amazing what's possible with Scratch! I've made a Mario Party port with a Splatoon theme called Squid Party, and I thought it was impressive until I saw SMM4...
Thanks! Once some new games pop up or I discover more existing ones, I'll most likely make a part 3. Btw, are you one of the NPCs appearing in Super Mario Z 6?
Love seeing creators like this get recognition. If you do a part 3, could you include a project that i made? Its called super mario island. It took me 6 months to make.
scratch mario maker: just drage your mouse and vwalaa! real mario maker: copy and paste mario editor: PLACE EVERY TILE BY HAND AND THEASE ARE TILES SO THEY DONT STICK TOGETHER HAVE FUN!
I was going to say "Dang, all you need are some virtual Lego bricks and you can make a more creative Mario game than Super Mario Maker will ever let you"... Until I saw that someone literally made their own Super Mario Maker game that lets you be more creative than the official games ever will. I am genuinely blown away
It's crazy that a Scratch game playable in a web browser has a more extensive editor than a full-priced retail Switch game, really shows the passion behind it. If only Nintendo kept updating Mario Maker 2 past 2020...
Aw yeah, another one! Love this, it’s very well done! If you do a part 3, could you consider including a game I made? It’s called Mario’s Galaxy 2, it’s similar to some of the games you’ve showed here. Regardless, have a great day Toadfan, and keep up the great work!!
Thanks! Unsure when I'll do a part 3, might give the community a chance to grow further before I do, but if I get round to it then I'll take a look and consider it!
As someone who struggled and toiled through Lunar Magic making mediocre SMW as a young 11 year old back in the late 00's, this brings me such good memories 🥲🥲 Too bad it was such a bitch to work with, if I grew up with Scratch instead I'd prolly still be making levels!
Sorry there were some Snow/Ice themed levels in Super Mario World, But they are mostly in the routes less taken, I seem to recall there being a pipe next to the Donut Secret Ghost house... for finding its normal exit, That took you to an underground ice level. The second to my recollection was One of the Special world stages which was an overworld snow theme... Again Quite a high skill cap required to even reach there, so It's understood that not many knew of it
Hey, Toadfan! I have a question about Super Mario Scralaxy. Gonna be long though, so get ready. At the beginning of the game, in one of the areas, you see 5 overall-wearing characters. 3 of which we know, 2 of which we don't. We know Luigi, we know Wario, we know Waluigi. We don't know the white and brown(?) ones. Telling by how they look, though, I assume the white one is your idea of a third Mario bro while the brown(?) one is your idea fo a third Wario bro? I don't really know.
I wouldn't say I'm a Scratch RU-vidr, but yeah I've definitely done a lot of Scratch-related stuff recently. I think it's safe to say I'll be doing more in the future though!
I dont know if anyone Renember theSuperGuideGame, He was a scratcher that used to make 2d Paper Mario games that were fun and add goofy story's. Clearly m'y childoud. He even made a super smash Bros in scratch
These games are really well made on scratch! I'm currently making a version of a game called Super Mario Screluxe by, --ThatCrownedKing-- and its pretty good!
The first game I tried to make was a super mario land game that was somewhat basic there were no boss and no screen moving but enimes. Flagpole and the classic power ups. I never finished it and erased it 😭 (This was back in 2016)
I made a game that is called Sonic Dungeons if you ever do a video about Sonic games. (It’s just called Sonic Dungeons, it’s the featured project on the DoubleMode profile.)
I Honestly need some spotlight, I make ok games but this is still really amazing I just feel my games underrated despite having 680 followers sorry I said this. I can't wait for more content like 5his.
