@@ann-marielehr2147 then specify, it's okay to just out right say " I like this era's music more them modern day music" without dragging the whole time period into it
It is Sunday. The flat is cleaned, the chores done for the day. It is summer but raining outside. You just made yourself a cup of delicious tea for the coziness and a refreshing GinTonic against the heat. Lying in bed and in the background you still hear the humming noises of dishwasher and washing machine that are doing their chores. This music just makes my Sunday.
Here I am, on a Sunday 5 months later, and I can relate to your comment so much, except it's winter and it's snowing outside, and I have hot chocolate for the coziness. This music is perfect for every season, and it just makes my Sunday, too.
I’m 17 but whenever I listen to old classic songs like ones in this video, it brings me back this really beautiful feelings that you have when you remember your darling memories. It’s so beautiful.
I dedicate this music to Marguerite Hyrapiet. (Spelling is correct!) Marguerite, the dancing, partying girl has teamed up with her many dancing partners from London’s Fifties. Farewell dear lady - and you were a lady in every sense! I know you have moved on to greater things- you were saddened and disheartened with modern life and all it’s misfortunes, of which there were plenty. Rest for now, but the newly-born you will dance and party again and life will continue. 🌈🇬🇧
It's so nice to have a little musical corner where everything is wholesome and healthy and young again, isn't it? Refreshing. Like freshly made, ice-cold lemonade sipped on the porch on a summer evening. And the lilies are all blooming.
i need a lady who understand this type of music, who can go out to jazz club to listen to jazz music and enjoy it. I just love jazz music,it speaks the same language as mine,
Hand in hand, we sway to the feeling of love. Pure, untouched, blissful love. Eyes closed, each step we take feels as though our memories are replaying from the very beginning of meeting one another. It was in the park, I remember each time I took a walk there, I saw you, and you shined bright as the morning sun. When I first laid eyes on you, my heart began to beat out of my chest. We felt the magic around us when we had our first date. Smiles. Gentle smiles. Caressing the heart. Not worrying about tomorrow, or the future. Living in the now. Embracing the togetherness of this moment in time. We became one in the same. I you, and you, me. As we sway once more, we are reminded of how calm life can be. The smallest moments mean the most.

So beautiful . These days we can only dream of a gentler world that will never return . I listen to this kind of music all the time . It takes me back and away from a world that I no longer respect or understand . I am 80 and have seen many changes and sadly not many for the better . Trust me , those days really were better ...
I’m 54 and grew up with music loving extended family who absolutely loved these types of true beautiful soulful artists. Honestly it seems mankind has literally gone in reverse on some alternate reality.... if more ppl would listen to this music things would change for the better! Nowadays the uglier and weirder artists are the only ones on the main menu....it seems they have tried to cancel all beauty and grace ....
You must be American. The 30s and 40s weren't better in Europe however good the music was. We were in the middle of violence and civil unrest that ultimately led to WW2.
It's a shame the spouse doesn't feel the same about this music. It puts me in such a wonderful dreamy mood. Everything is alright with the world, even if its just for a moment.
Visual: You're slow dancing with your significant other in your kitchen; it's golden hour. This music is playing softly in the background and you feel at peace. Heart beat against heart beat, heads pressed against each other, slowly dancing around the kitchen. The soft warm wind is blowing through the windows and dinner is well on its way. "I love you" your significant other says softly. Peace, wanting that moment to be frozen in time.
Just now slow dancing with my 8 months old baby, it is wintertime, dark and gloomy but not with this music. He heard it for the first time, never danced with him like this, he loved it!
I am just old enough to remember some of these on the radio. So beautiful. Played in the 50's and 60's even.(I was born in '54) Also,I came to youtube today looking for this type off music because I'm play Fallout 3 at the moment,and all the Fallout games have this era's music on radios being broadcast in an Apocalyptic world. It's great and refreshing,..unlike most games out today. TY OODLES for creating this video. :}
I genuinely cried listening to this music, longing for people I have never met and thinking that there is so much time ahead of me. Thanks for some memories that I don't have.
You know the best part about music like this is that it's good for your mental state it's pretty therapeutic. I have to say i'm shattered i didn't witness any of the past world specifically when people were nicer to each other.
She was one of the greatest female vocalists of the 20th century. Extremely talented. All I can say is we're fortunate that her voice can still be heard today.
i’m 15 and i do too. i’ve been listening to 30’s-60’s music for about 3 years now. Frank sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole are my favs ❤️❤️
I love these old music so much! It bring me in 40s 😍if i think out grandparents were listening these beautiful and dancing with their love aww so romantic
Im a 13 y.o kid who loves vintage music and honestly I was born in the wrong generation imagine livin' in old times, good times, simplier, lovely days aah such a lovely time to spend with your love one
I love the aesthetic of older days... Honestly though, It would depend on what's going on at the time frame I was born and living in during those days honestly... Considering that discrimination amounts was... A lot more than today..and as a female I'd like to be able to have a reasonably paying job to help support myself and loved ones and not feel like I need to hide that I like other women TwT No war would be nice too along with better medicine and reasonable research into mental health to make sure people including myself would be okay TmT Still, gotta admit, music and ascetic basis? NOICE!
This takes me back to Sundays as a kid and my dad listening to this and whistling. Seeing my parents dancing to it in the kitchen. Dad would have been really young when some of this came out but he preferred this kind of music and passed it on to me.
Drowning my broken heart in whiskey while listening to these calming pieces of soul repairing art. Hope one day I will be drinking to this with love of my life by my side.
cozy, dreamy and vintage are the feelings that only the good old 40s can bring at best so you can bet that even how much music evolve, these legacy will still be with mankind
I love this songs😍😍 para ako bumalik sa panahon ng lolo't lola ko😍💃 Just a GOLD btw. Miss you mga Lolo's ang Lola's in Heaven 😍💗 Love from Philippines🇵🇭💗😍😍
Have you ever really enjoyed something but you weren't sure why... I love this music.. I'm going to dig into my past and maybe find a connection to this music and me...
Stars shining bright above you Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you" Birds singing in the sycamore tree Dream a little dream of me Say nighty night and kiss me Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me While I'm alone and blue as can be Dream a little dream of me Stars fading but I linger on, dear Still craving your kiss I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear Just saying this Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you But in your dreams whatever they be Dream a little dream of me Stars fading but I linger on, dear Still craving your kiss I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear Just saying this Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you But in your dreams whatever they be Dream a little dream of me
Even though I was born in the 60s, I love this kind of music. Takes me back to this time in my mind mostly based on all the old movies I've seen but also on all the things my mother and grandparents talked about.
🎶🎵🎧🧘♂️In the midnight While looking up at the sky w/ a spliff ,I let my soul to think it self while the world is sleeping ,. The breeze is blowing over my face ,so I close my eyes and so then, it brought me peace and tranquility. 🙏🎶💚 ✌️😌
Мне 75,я из Рссии, мой отец увлекался джазом, в нашем доме часто звучала эта музыка, и я тоже не представляю свою жизнь без нее, слушаю постоянно, спасибо, что это теперь так доступно!
so soothing. Such a sad thing that no one really likes this music anymore I wish I could live back then ^^ Even though there was war, it was pretty cool and The cars, art, and social life was better than ever
