Dude i drafted 4 excavate DK with 10 mana 8/8 rush boy who spawns another 8/8 rush on death. I drafted and played those 5 cards with worth of about 35 mana and got the dream. The priest just summoned a copy that killed my guy and then puppet theatered my azarite and played my combo better then me in one turn for 7 mana. Remove priest from the game😄
I won't spoil anything, but my initial thoughts were that the deck looks like it has fine cards, but has no proper game structure/plan. Was an interesting one to play out is what I'll say 😉
I play the azerite murloc on turn 5 today with shaman-DK. Turn 4 conductivity-shroom, turn five 4 mana 3-3 excavate. A 5/5 and a 7 drop and three 3 drop on turn 5. I feel bad for the opponent.
Honestly, this deck surprised me too. I was worried about the lack of a specific end-game plan, but the removal worked wonders. Glad to see it go the distance!
Also, do you think it would be a good idea to try showing the player their legendary picks at the start of the draft, then offering them at the end of it?
I feel like it's fine as it is. Although this might make less legendary picks feel bad, it would also up the general power level of all decks, and suddenly, it doesn't matter because everyone else's legendary is also better, more impactful and more consistent.
To each their own! Everyone likes different things, and that's completely fine! I think this meta isn't too bad by design (although some things can change for the better, especially balance), and I can see that without liking it and putting my personal biases into the picture.
wonder why you didn't use sunset volley on the first match? Maybe it would have summoned a taunt aside from maybe doing enough damage to one of those minions to clear it.
I had a few people suggest different lines there. At that point, winning a 1/4 9 times in a row, then also using up my last resources when I'm still so far behind on board, health and card advantage is probably a loss. I usually play games out, but that game just felt far from winnable so I just moved on. That turn, there were a few lines I could have taken technically to live a little longer but I just didn't see a win from that position. Should have given it a go at least though for sure 😊
Oh by the way Japetto copies jade spirits to your hand, however much you played them, despite it being 2/2 and more after the first one. So i guess it only remembers the base card stats right?
I actually don't recall when/what I was talking about, so pardon my follow up, but I don't think there's an arena update right now. If you can mention a particular point or what I was talking about, maybe I can elaborate further what I really meant 😅
@@DieselEngine-lg6xm OH! I had forgotten. Yes, that's some exciting news! It's not for a while though (they said next year), but I'm optimistic for sure!
You do mention that it can be an update that will happen next year so it is early news, but I do think it is a big step forward thanks for the content and cheers!
31:51 couldnt you have cleared with conductivity into twilight torrent in the midddle into malted magma into tradde the 1/2 elemental andd baking soda at the end. I think it clears exactly and the game goes on why did you concede?
I didn't see that line is probably the reason! I think in hindsight, using that barrage of resources and power moves like conductivity on a turn like that probably signals a loss because you have no further follow ups or ways to beat that much card advantage any longer, BUT, it had a higher chance than conceding that's for sure haha.
I'd like to keep streaming, so I don't think about what I'm doing instead as to me it feels like giving up, BUT I do know that should I ever need, it's a path I can get back to, albeit slowly, at the least 😊
