These are wonderful videos. Only feedback if you do more would be that the examples would benefit from the use of a monospace font. When you lay the keyword over the plaintext the letters would directly line up with a monospace font as an example.
I love the way you explain every topic. No matter the topic, whether it’s history, academics, culture, language, kingdoms…etc., you do it in such an unbiased way that it makes it easy to understand and appreciate the story behind it all. Thank you for such great content.
Awesome and well explained video. Thank you. I noticed something I think is a mistake. The example where you generated a cypher text using the WHITE keyword, the 4th cypher letter is X and not Y. So it is IVDXX... not IVDYX... Let me know if I'm mistaken.
Very well-made! I would enjoy a third video because I am trying to create a difficult challenge. I had created the Vigenere cipher on my own without knowing it already existed. I assumed frequency analysis, which I learned years ago from looking at the ceasar cipher, would work if one brute-forced all the lengths, so I searched for better ciphers. This video revealed that the cipher was much easier to break than I thought. Although I'll probably make a decent cipher challenge soon, I would really like to see some more on the history of ciphers!
This channel is new but has great potential. I've been through many small educational channels that slowly turned big over the years please keep on continuing this work we will watch your career with great interest.
