The municipality of Três Forquilhas is near the BR-101, 150 km from Porto Alegre and 150 km from Caxias do Sul - on the road to Santa Catarina state.
Access is by a dirt road parallel to the Rota do Sol (Sun route, RS-486).
The road reaches almost the edge of the waterfall, but can be impassable for passenger vehicles in periods of prolonged rain.
To get there, enter the coordinates -29.409806, -50.057739 in your traffic app. On Google Maps, this is the end point of the road - but you can continue.
In this recording, I parked appropriately at point -29.397077, -50.048025
The area is public and there was no entrance charge during this video recording.

The municipality of Maquiné is also on the way to SC state, 130 km from Porto Alegre and 180 km from Caxias do Sul, being accessed by BR-101.
To get to the beginning of the trail, simply enter the coordinates -29.535887, -50.206018 in your traffic application.
The road has 4 crossings of water slides and stretches with stones that can be overcome with a small car - but you need to pass carefully. In the case of prolonged rainfall, it may become impassable for these vehicles.
