More than 400 NSFAS-funded students to repay money 

Let's stop laziness and face the reality. Who approved this funds to the students?

What about the lost middle students? They are too rich over R350 000 per year or too poor earning just over R350 000 a year and they cant afford paying for the fees. They are over R350 000 but cant afford university fees still. So not eligible. Cant each student state their case of affordability. Eg engineering R85 000 per yr accommodation R60 000 food R34 000 equal R179 000. a family earning just over R350 000 cannot afford this. The missing middle.

Very sad. My niece was studying engineering .She was assisted for the first two years with another institution She could not get assistance from Nsfas despite both her parents unemployed . Sadly she had to drop out. Persons deserving were pushed aside

Where those students going to get that money.who proved that funds joke

UP rejected alot of people who applied for NFSAS only to find out that they have been storing that money...WOW!!!

Thanks to bosses more interested in the nfsas money than administrating it. What a sorrowfiul shame the minister + his comrade cronies are. They had 1 job + it was not to pocket taxes earmarked for educating the youth. But thats precisely how low they have sunken.

ONLY the most poor must get freebies

So they Reject us because they don't have the money, why shouldn't they say so when we are trying to call them

400. That means they didn't start from the top going down. Most people who resort to lying is because the parents don't want to pay and government did not provide resolution for such matters. Many young people can't/didn't study because their parents are busy sponsoring extra marital affairs.We need proper solutions. Most of these people won't pay cause they are unemployed. Government should've went after the parents when they had a chance to.
