As a parent and a daddy's girl this quickly became one of my favourite songs in the series. I've been singing a modified verison of it to my own baby when I rock him to sleep at night.
Hit me today that the reason Charlie's story hits Lucifer so hard is because he'd spent thousands of years thinking his dreams were all for nothing, and then he realizes there was still one person who believed in them.
Lmao. Charlie have a girlfriend. Not a girl who is a friend but girlfriend, girlfriend. Also, didn't you already reacted to Hell's Greatest Dad? It blatantly told that he's Charlie's dad. 😅
@@walrusesarecute1 You mean in Hell's Greatest Dad? I don't know, I feel like its obvious especially with the title, obvious fighting over who is the dad and the line "who also happens to be your blood". Maybe that's just me.
@@EnteraName1876 nah, the blood line couldn't be interprated differently, but the song is a bit fast paced, and for a reactor to have reacted to it weeks ago and that line going by super non chalantly could be a bit hard to notice. It is a bit obvious, but that is because we had a bunch of context before the song, and were probably had more lines to base it off of. Another way I could see it be interpretated is like they are fighting over who is the better parental figure. Lucifer getting pissy doesn't say anything about if he is her dad or not.
@@walrusesarecute1 Charlie called him a Dad in the song too? It's the one after Lucifer said the "family rate" thing? Daddy's review on yelp? I think its no longer a subtext and there's no need to know the plotline to know he's the girl's father when the relation was stated several times? 😅 Although I get it, Boss seems more concerned on beats instead of the lyrics when it comes to music. Nothing's wrong with that. Appreciation is still an appreciation.
This song emotionally killed me. Something about all of these tropes being used for this kind of love rather then romantic love like they usually are makes them hit harder
Your reactions are always so genuine. 🥰 I'm so glad you've found this show and it's many amazing songs. Each and every one is amazing and plays an important role in the series. If you decide to react to the series itself, I'll certainly tune in! These songs, within the context of the show, hit even harder! ☺️ I can't wait to see what you think.
"More than anything" This Song by Lucifer and his daughter Charlie brought me and my sister to tears from yesterday until now. And lover duet is breaking my heart. It's possible that Eve is character named Roo = Root of Evil in hell. Vivziepop has mention that she will in story.
I love hazbin hotel I’m a huge fan and if you liked lucifers voice (cause he’s amazing) then you should check out three songs sung by a character called Varian from rapunzels tangled adventure, there done by the same voice actor and the names of the songs are called “make you proud” “ready as I’ll ever be” “nothing left to lose”-in that order
Hey man! Just found ur channel, really enjoyed ur reactions to these hazbin songs, u seem like such a genuine guy, love ur commentary on em. Looking foward to more hopefully (especially Ready For This or You Didn't Know)!
I keep joking with my friends that, yes, I have Daddy Issues™ But in all honesty as someone who doesn't have the best relationship with both my parents this song hits me very hard. I haven't been in contact with my father for almost two years now and I won't lie I'm glad I broke off all contact with him. And me and my mom we don't really have a child-mother relationship either. Sometimes it really just feels like she's a random roommate who I live with. I've never been close to either of my parents. In fact I think my older sister has done more for me than my parents combined. But all of this just makes me love this song so much more. And it makes me wish I had a parent like Lucifer. Yes he's depressed and he has neglected Charlie for who knows how long, but it's because no one helped him out, he struggled to show his true feelings and just how much he cares for Charlie. And seeing them both sing about their emotions and their feelings it just, it makes me tear up every time. This might be my favorite song in the show (as of now).
This is my favorite song from this show. I also lost my father at 13-14, and I like to imagine we could have some great fun had we gotten the chance to get to know each other on a deeper level. Me seeing more of the person that my dad was, and him learning who I would become. Sadly we never got the chance, but this song puts that thought into my head☺
Dude they literally look the same... and you've watched "Hell's greatest dad" where it's blatantly stated they're father and daughter. It's not rocket science
Hey Duane, I liked your Hazbin Hotel reactions, but I have a challenge for you, it is called the Sabaton challenge. Watch No Bullets Fly (animated story) and Christmas Truce (animated story)
Hell has 10000 year of pentagram city. Charlie's Canon age is 200 years. #Theory Charlie wasn't first children of Lilith and Lucifer but they all born death. LadySygerrik Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. It could be Charlie isn't their first child, just the first one to survive. Valentino simp If we learned anything from Helluva Boss, it's that Viv love morbid backstories soooo
About Lucifer being short, I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that he was like 6'3 or something? lmao idk tho that could be wrong. Apparently Charlie is like 6'5?
After you finish hazbin hotel you should definitely watch helluva boss songs or even the series ive heard vivi likes when people react to helluva boss :)
