Hi beautiful Christina, it was so lovely to see this video - so much to say... congratulations on selling the NYC condo. Being a sentimental soul like you I find it hard to let go of things, but it is absolutely necessary. A tree does not grieve for its leaves in Autumn (Fall) - it knows it will get fresh new leaves at a later date, and the "rubble and the ruin" act as fertiliser for its (our) growth. Letting go cleanly is absolutely possible (and is revelatory). It's wonderful about you designing a new cave-like environment in your bedroom - I love the 'flashy' fabric (inspired by your artwork, I think), and the textural orange rug looks great too. I realised this weekend that my 'accent style' (similar to accent colour) is 'British Colonial'. Also, when you said you'll now do 2 videos per month, I thought, 'Yesss' - yesss for you and Jerry (reclaiming your 'you' time)... it's a labour of love, but a time-consuming labour nonetheless to make the videos that can cut into too much of our time (setting healthy boundaries for self). There are only so many hours in the day we have, no matter where in the world we are. Happy for you, my sweet. And thank you for the beautiful poem... sending extra big hugs to your 17-year-old self. Hear yah, love yah. I regularly revisit my teenage self and give myself a lot of love and reassurance about my triumphantly beautiful future as she was one traumatised young lady. Living, loving, mending. 💓

Although we differ spiritually, I experience a lot of similarities of values in life. I think love is the important common thread. You share a lot of love. You say in your beautiful poem that beauty will find you, so true. To me it reads like love will find you (for me that is God). That for me is the truth in everything, also in beauty, also in being able to build a life and identity despite of a difficult past (like you and everyone I've had my share, thank you for sharing!). All of what you share makes the concept of home as you give to us in your video's, authentic and sincere. That said, I look forward to the make-over of your bedroom. Lovely images. It will be a lovely retreat in your further also nurturing home. So glad for you and Jerry that you will be living there permanently. Being an artist and a poet myself, and having my own published book with art and poetry, I can relate to how you feel right now. Good luck! Concerning the inspiration for your bedroom, when you showed the bag with the two shades of brown, I had to think of a variation on the theme: once I was inspired by the color of a pillow that Arvin Olano showed us, as the color I was looking for for part of my website. So home can inspire other area's of creativity. But you know that. I can imagine your decision to go to 2 video's a month. I hope to be here. You know what is best for you. I once wrote a little blog about art on Instagram every week and after 8 months I just stopped. It was just the time to move forward. You also grow, I taste that in your video's, like this vlog. Personally I don't mind videos only twice a month, but that are of longer time, higher quality, and good energy because it's not draining you so much. You seem like a very beautiful human being, and it is quite clear that you are very creative, open, and accepting of people coming from various perspectives and backgrounds. I think it's important in these times to have a respite, a place to go to, in order to shelter from the turbulence of what's going on in the world (at least for a moment). I agree that you should leave politics out of this channel, because it is a very polarizing subject- it divides. This channel is about coming together... exploring and harnessing the creativity that resides in us all. I've been here since the very beginning, (thanks RU-vid algorithm!); and even though I rarely comment, I'm always waiting for them. That said, I don't watch the vlogs. HOWEVER, you should make your videos for YOU. Nevermind your audience, your numbers, etc. In the late 90s to the mid 2000's, I had a quilting/textile art blog, where I shared what I was working on. I had a nice following - not huge, but enough that sponsors were interested. After awhile, I became incredibly stressed out about making "content" every week; and forgot about the joy I had in creating. One day, with no warning, I just deleted the blog. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I was much healthier mentally, and I learned how to enjoy creating again for its own sake. So, what I'm saying is, never mind us. Make these videos for you, in your own way, in a way that gives you joy. You'll lose some people, perhaps; but eventually, *your* people will find you. Live in joy, girl! P.S. I was an emancipated teen at 15, so we probably have similar stories. ❤

Have you considered creating area rugs from the design of your art? Seems they could also be used as tapestry

People who make mean comments are simply trolls who have an ugly life, so they try to spread their unhappiness. I pity them. Please don't feel badly for anything that anyone says. If we are watching this channel, it's because we love your style and what you bring to your wonderful channel and this awesome community that you are building. This community is amazing. I used to bring perfection to the plate and after having two heart attacks and a mini stroke last year, I let go of my perfectionism. It is exhausting, unhealthy, and no one is perfect, so why would anyone expect you to be? I relate even less to people who act perfect because I can't relate to them.They make me feel like if I haven't baked gluten free bread with my own two hands and dispensed groceries into mason jars and have a floor that people can eat off of, then I am a failure. People like that are fake anyways. They have all of their junk piled up in the corner, out of the camera shot, or in a spare room. I have been here since the beginning of your channel because you are real, vulnerable , extremely talented, artistic and sweet.And I can tell that you really love your followers as much as we all love you.

Is there a possibility that you can share a little bit of how you make decisions about fabrics when you go to the designer fabric store in NY or have you already done that there?

I've been on hold for over a year, I understand the vulnerability and I see you, I'll still be looking forward to your videos.
