Are we really that dense that we don't know that he likes the us or do we don't want to see the truth because obviously we are the good ones and Ed here is the 'bad' one... I personally would take the box and try to get behind the deaths and maybe I could meet up with the cute villain once everything is over~
This makes me…slightly upset. His logic? Flawed. His reasoning? Pretty dumb. The MC?? A moron. It’s like no one has any common sense. It doesn’t feel like anything is going anywhere because the entire summary of this is: I am mad because I didn’t get enough attention as a child. Now I’m a criminal. But you know what, how dare you assume I do bad things! Even though I specifically left clues on the crime scenes that it was me… You should feel sorry for me, listen to me even though I’ve committed crimes, and believe I’m not horrible all because I say I didn’t do it. What? You don’t trust me because Im a war criminal? What? You don’t believe me? You must be stupid lolol. You should be better, because I’m a sympathetic character so you have to believe me. Im even traumatized because I accidentally killed somebody! It doesn’t matter that I made the machine, or set it up, and even knew that it was unstable but used it anyways.. it also doesn’t matter that I committed the act of villainy and expected things to go well without any causalities with a dangerous weapon. You idiot you shouldn’t blame me. Pity me! If you don’t then you’re just one of those prissy hero’s who aren’t good people. I also hate the fact that you’re good at your job and never fail. Even if I don’t know you personally, and I’ve never seen you do much besides your interactions with me, I’m assuming you’re perfect at what you do because I’m totally not self centered and a complete narcissist. Nope! So why don’t you stop trying to throw me in jail, even though I’m wanted, and do as I say so we can catch another guy that you don’t even know exists. Why? Because I say so. Now listen to me or you’re a bad person because I had a bad past and I don’t kill people :(((
Thank you for listening, and also for your input. I'm sorry that you didn't like this story. E2L stories, including ones with the slow burn tag, can be challenging for both listeners and creators because it can be hard to not make the characters more likeable immediately as opposed to having them grow into it. Which, I understand isn't the only way to do that, but is the way I wanted to for this. I wanted this to be about perspective and perception. Machiavellian may be smart, but has a lot of learning yet to do, while the listener may really be the "good guy" but hasn't tried to see these events from any other side but their own. Once again I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy this audio and I hope that I can make something better for you in the future. Stay Brilliant, Ed
@@ExtrovertED I didn’t dislike the video, I’m just a really..REALLY big perfectionist when it comes to stories. I’m not saying every story has to be perfect, In fact, I’m always most critical of myself when I create something. But when I go off on little rants like this, I’m really only messing around and I’m slightly passionate about stating my opinions on things. But it’s just that, an opinion. I don’t actually care that it has logical inconsistencies- I mean it’s an ASMR, what should I expect? A perfect story? Nah bro.. If I turned my brain off and didn’t pay attention to my own ‘is water wet’ mentality then I would enjoy it, like I’m sure a lot of your viewers did.
