It's definitely become more mainstream for barhopping and foodie types. P. Burgos still gets a bit of a stigma, but most locals understand Poblacion is way more than just the P. Burgos red-light strip.

That place is the spot for a great slice, which is hard to find in Manila. Thankfully, beautiful girls are not as hard to find here.

ya in my youth when i drank I could see myself getting into a lot of trouble in that area hehe , I do miss my youth 20-35 going into a nightclub live band place shuts down we all stay behind playing pool other played poker until after noon oh yes to be young again . I would just do my Chi Gong and my other exercises instead of what you show around the 10 min mark ;) lol

It's all good. The nightlife is still fun here. I do many types of warmups and range of motion exercises. I trained with a Chi Kung Grandmaster for years ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h4_ZjVB4nuQ.html But I prefer Kenpo Karate or the FMA Arnis.

Definitely a nice option. There was no hard-sell. The service was expedient, but I can't recall if they have a pool table or not. Usually, we like to play a few games when hanging out.

How much the price of freelancers? How much the bar fine?

A bar fine in Manila seemed to average to ₽3.75k, maybe more now. Freelancers vary widely. If they desire you, it could be as little as ₽1k, but if they are prostie types, probably more like ₽4k to ₽8k depending on how hot and young they are.

The girls will keep insisting if you’re a frequent customer to request going with you to your place. Unless you’re hinting to have a good deal. No rush for you either way since you already a resident in the Philippines. Some Filipinas have that juicy skin and face, but mostly you will not see them hanging out in the bars, and they will be available through online only for request.

It's actually the other way around. When the girls know you are a regular, they don't bother you because they know you have a GF, or are just there to chill and play pool. Unless you are the kind of regular that buys bar-girl drinks. Then they definitely will want to party with you.

The only bar I hear that is an actual freelancer bar is in Malate. LA Cafe. Otherwise, it seems it's hit or miss.

That location was open after the fire. But they just closed for renovation. They are running a stand, or delivery or something. I can't recall exactly.

@@itsManilaBaybee I certainly don't know the cost. But a party of two, one bottle, 2 quality meals, how much would it cost in these fancy places? If you don't spend $200/month, then you don't drink alcohol (which is good, I don't neither, or very seldom) If a quality drink cost $4, that is one and a half per day/month.

@@GoPoundSalt These places aren't really fancy. A meal is between $4 & $7 bucks. We average $10 for two meals in a restaurant. Bottles we split 2 or 4 ways. Depending on where (and what) we are drinking a bottle can be $35 to $80. Beers are under a buck at happy hours, and maybe 2 bucks at most places.

Goethe's Faust was brilliant, filled with flowing, and meliflous prose. A lot of great quotes in that work. I'm still looking for one specific translation that was amazing. How they could take German and make it rhyme and flow like that in English was magical.

@@itsManilaBaybee yeah, even more impressive is that german syntax (I've been told) tends to be in the passive voice so that you have to pay attention until the end of the sentence to discover the 'doer of the action'. So to translate that effectively? almost take a Goethe to do it. Would've been cool to see how Nabokov (did he know German?) / Hesse / Conrad would've done it.....cheerz

Good question. In Makati and most of Manila, they are not all nude. They are required to have some covering. The closest to nude will be pasties and a thong. But Subic, that's another story.

I'll pass on Kanto's [that looks dirty eatin with ur hands] but I will definitely do The Filling Station (American grub all day).. Lol, 😂 ur boys with that ol school 90s button up shirt clip 9:42, and the big dude on clip 9:57 with that 90s stripe t shirt, I remember those, I used to have one myself as a teen in the 90s.
