Ukraine’s national football team will play its first match of the UEFA European Football Championship against Romania in Munich on June 17. In the midst of war, Ukraine gained a place in the tournament at the last minute, sparking a massive wave of emotion in the country and also in Germany, where more than one and a half million Ukrainian refugees are still living. For them, each match of “Zbirna" - the nickname of the Ukrainian national team - is more than just a sporting event. FRANCE 24’s team on the ground reports.
