We have been wanting to go there for ages, this place offers a lot more than just reptile, there are also Australian birds, animals and insects. We love the Egyptian mummy theme and the giant mechanical funnel-web spider. A great place to have a relaxing walk or take the kids out, there is even a children's playground there.
The Hard Croc Cafe has a great range of take away food, would be better if they had a dine in area. You can just grab something and eat it at there BBQ and picnic area, or bring some meat and have a BBQ yourself with the family.
With all these animal parks its best as always to get there early grab a free map and plan what you want to see , especially the live shows and feeding times of your favorite animal. We love the Alligator feeding best, but manage to see parts of the Kids dinosaur show, snake milking and spider milking.
Great to see the effort in breeding our endangered species of turtles and frogs. Most of the exhibits are outdoors so pick a nice day, an overcast day is ideal. As usual we end the day at the gift shop. Enjoy your day.
