The 4 piece adaptor set is a must buy. I just put the 3/8 to 1/2 one through an hour of impact wrenching today, it got warm as hell but survived with no marks at all. However, avoid the Pittsburgh ramps and get the Rhino Ramps at Oreilly for around the same price, except those can do 12000lb
I love my US General tool box that I bought in 2016. Unlike my last one (from Walmart) from years past this one is solid and the drawers aren't falling apart or off the tracks like the last one did.
10mm sockets and wrenches disappear worldwide…will eventually be all to be residing on an uncharted 10mm island located in the Bermuda Triangle…mountains and mountains of them!!!
Oddly enough I’ve found some of these 10mm randomly. I was walking in my neighborhood and found one in the street. No idea who’s it was but it’s mine now. Another time I was working on some stuff in my cousin’s garage when we moved his stuff into his new house. We moved a pile of scrap wood that was sitting in the corner and there was a 10mm that dropped out of the pile. They appear as randomly as they disappear.
@@ws4835 😂so true! I lost a 10mm wrench at a trackday and then found a random one in my toolbox later. Mine had a 12 point box end and the found one is a 6 point!
The kneeling pads are great. They are thick enough to use on an unlevel surface, soft enough that you can kneel on them comfortably, but stiff enough that you don't sink clear through and have your knees hurt. I used mine last week working on a drip system. Plan to use it today working on a wheel bearing. I just purchased another one so that I can keep 1 in the garage and 1 in the workshop. Thanks
A lot of guys rank on HF, but there are some excellent deals and great tools there for DIY guys. You just need to do a little research. Vids like yours take the guesswork out for guys who may just be getting started, and I think that is very cool. Great vid, and great channel.
I bought a set of rounded nut/bolt extractors since I've used them before. Love them. I would also recommend the creepers, magnetic parts trays and automotive picks
I own both Icon, and a Snap On ratchets in all 3 drives, and trust me when I say the Icon is NOT comparable to Snap On!! Oh, it's a great ratchet, I never complain when I use it, but it's nowhere near as smooth as the Snap On. There will always be a huge difference between a $40 ratchet, and a $200 ratchet.
Honestly the 2000w generator is a much better buy than the 1400w model if you can afford it. It really isn’t much more and those extra running watts can make the difference if you want to use the generator to run some power tools at a job site or whatnot. I really think the 1400w generator is just a bad buy, go for the 2000w model if you are looking for an easy to carry generator. Great video
@@DadDeals makes sense. I use their 9000w (or is it 8500?) and back feed the house so I keep everything on when the power goes out. It’s about 50 bucks a day in fuel to run the house on gas. Bet running that little thing for just a fridge to keep things from spoiling would be 50 bucks a week, if not less.
I’ve never been a Harbor Freight fan in general but I do think their simpler tools with fewer moving parts provide some value. Admittedly, I’m a bit of a tool snob for the brands that I like and own because I’ve always been a believer in saving up to buy the best quality you can afford to do the jobs that you need to do. Then making sure to care for the tools that you have to ensure they last longer. But if Harbor Freight is the best a person can afford then there’s no shame in that, something is always better than nothing at the end of the day. Having said that, I will never buy anything with a Predator engine, they’re pure junk! During the Pandemic, Koehler and Honda engines were nearly impossible to source, so my company had to temporarily resort to using Predators to keep production going and we had nothing but problems with just about every single unit. Just my 2 cents
@@DadDeals yep. First one let go as soon as I switched the selector to put a bolt back in. The second one worked for about 30 minutes and started making an awful noise as the teeth drug around so I went ahead and returned them all. The one that broke completely was only used on an oil pan bolt so not much force being used
Doris the hex shank socket drivers come in brands like Bauer or Hercules. I try to avoid warrior but maybe someone can verify this one is actually fine for warrior brand. Thx
The series 3 boxes are trash. Those power strips are legit tho. That pump sprayer is actually something I'm going to take a look at, I could use one for the garden.
