I love how some people obsess about finding the most competitive tier-one deck to climb the ladder and still struggle, while Chris does just fine with his beautiful fun hyper janky concoctions
@@benjaminmiddaugh2729 Also Ninja zombie army zombie human knight and stuff beyond your imagination, the simic would be really proud of that card. It manages to do stuff they only dream of, as they always wanted to create this abomination.
Just started getting back in to MTG:Arena after a years break. Always loved your videos and I'm so glad you're still making awesome MTG content! Keep up the good work my dude :D
This combo is actually amazing in Commander. You want to put in Dragons and propably some artifact creatures anyways, and now they help you get treasures as well. On top of that now all of your dwarfs are also Dragons, so you can tutor them out using your commander.
I’ve been having a TON of fun with Magda, Nexus, and vehicles. Tapping my whole board at instant speed to tutor Birgi, Ignus, and Terror of the Peaks (Birgi and ignus als make infinite treasures) feels great
Maskwood Nexus is definitely my favorite card in the set. Janky AF, but I'm currently running a mono white deck that just combines dogs, angels, knights and everything buffs eachother. The win rate isn't all that great, but the fun rate is better than anything before.
@@lupfi1 not likely unleashed gets avoid hand. most of his decks are trash which is why 90% of his games are against terrible decks. The win rate is probably 30%
Currently running a red/white dwarf deck that tries to finish the game with Embercleave or that dragon that gives double strike to all your creatures. Technically not the only win condition, but if I don't pull it off it's a bit hard to win against fast-ish decks and impossible against anything with control.
@@rotten2209 That deck also runs Opportunistic Dragon, which gets pulled twice as often as Embercleave. I think I can safely claim to be the only person on ladder running that card as a combat trick. Imagination is great and all, but it doesn't help race Ugin.
I know this probably won't be seen, but I think a version of this deck that runs the new demon from Kaldheim alongside 4 copies of Karn's Temporal Sundering sounds really fun in historic. Once you get set up you just take 4 turns in a row and that sounds super fun to me
If you want something really crazy, its maskwood nexus + world tree (Since World tree can fetch all of your creatures in the deck when its fetching Gods). And hilarity ensues.
Yo, you should totally play Rune combo! That would make for an epic video! Runeforge Champion Setessan Champion Transcendent Envoy 4x all five runes Storm Herald Alseid of Life’s Bounty Starnheim Courser (worse than Envoy but repetition) Low amounts of lands This deck can get consistent turn 4-5 wins if you mulligan aggressively. Very satisfying to pull off!
what if you add a card that makes your lands creatures or lets you tap creatures for mana so you can just tap everything for mana and get a lot of treasure tokens
Dear Dark Lord, If you splash green on this deck, it opens a whole lot of doors, like Emmara + Presence of Gond, and Glimmerbell + Parcelbeast. Yours truly, A potato
At 7:00 I am pretty sure they tried to play a Griffins Aerie with two black sources with the intention of gaining four life. Then almost immediately after used that same card they meant to use on your turn to gain 4 life, not getting the triggers on the Aerie's
My Dark Lord, at 29:41 couldn't you instead use the treasures to put a Chromatic Orrery on the battlefield and then use that to play Elspeth Conquers Death?
Really need to add the demon lord mamon with the effect of on each players upkeep they create a treasure token, and when a treasure token is sacrificed the owner of mamon draws a card.
All MONO BLACK MAGIC's decks are fine :) but unfortunately they all have 1 weakness : vulnerable against counterspell decks. But I still like what this guy proposes us every day :)
put the giant from kaldheim in the deck where double the damage from all giant sources...you can search it with magda and all your thing do giant damage too when the nexus is online 🤩
23:43 Its not that he doesn't have any permanents. His land is a permanent that has 0 converted mana cost. If he had no lands then in search of greatness would not work in that case.
Don't forget The World Tree (call Gods on Nexus). gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=503895 Don't forget Deathbellow War Cry (call Minotaur on Nexus) gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=479052 Ridiculousness...
BRO I LEGIT PLAY THIS WITH GOBLINS IN HISTORIC BUT I USE THAT ENCHANTMENT AND GOLDSPAN DRAGON FOR EVERY TOKEN IT MAKES Double also I use the planeswalker kanya and bauak cause more tokens and destroy draw pluses stupid easy to proc his emblem
I really love Magda, but it just seems to me that pulling Dream Trawlers sounds like a bit of a boring payoff. It feels like she should pull something that makes you think "wait, what even is this thing? Is that actually in the game?".
main deck no, but it singlehandedly won me games by pulling it from the sideboard when the opp is low on cards. half of the time they just concede. given the boardstate is not in their favour ofcourse.
