today we are going to be diving and investigating into the most unsettling, disturbing, and unnerving reddit posts. these are the case files. we have an unsettling medical youtube channel from dr yon yarn or dr edwin zong, an airbnb like the one from the horror movie barbarian, and california raisins collectible items goodness. these come from r/RBI, a subreddit on reddit dedicated to solving real-world mysteries, not just internet mysteries. they helped solve 1-800-GOLF-TIP the most mysterious number from the 90s, the search was fueled by youtuber barely sociable. he did nanny lynn too with whang. even though these are mysteries it's on the internet so could be fake ARG analog horror. no lost media in this video but maybe next. actually not probably a liminal backroom frutiger aero. watch my deep dive to find out the dark truth.

Sometimes I think the same thing, I could do some California Raisin Fanclub thing, I could make and leave wooden effigies on somebody’s car windshield for months Blair Witch style, I could hide confusing notes in weird places in retail stores, collect newspapers every day for months and leave the entire collection at somebody’s doorstep someday, literally nothing is stopping me. The scarier thing is, nothing is ever stopping anybody else in the world from doing the same, other than the desire to be a normal part of society. It’s surprising sometimes that more people don’t do weird shit.

I wonder if the california raisins mail is the result of "missing mail" being delivered decades later? Stuff like that happens all the time. Someone who lived in the house in the 80's might have had that name and signed up, but the mail got lost in shipment for decades until it was found and shipped off. That merch from the 80's might sell for a LOT on eBay

I think you're right, but I don't think anyone in that house actually went by the name on the package. Remember how OP said the name on the package is similar to theirs but is actually the name of a fictional character from a tv show? It could have been a psudonym on the original order. USPS sometimes marks mail as undeliverable if the name on the package doesn't match any ever used at that address. The packages coming from Hawaii, Alaska, Utah, and Arizona point to the return addresses being fake, so they can't just be returned to sender. But their records suddenly start showing someone with the correct last name and first initial... suddenly the package is deliverable! When I first started transitioning, I sometimes used a different last name as well. It led to a couple minor issues with "lost mail" lol

I almost have a similar one to the raisins but it's a bit different - someone I know was receiving a shitload of jewellery and early MLP fandom stuff in the mail, and it turned out that their (incredibly common) name was the same name as the daughter of the previous tenant before she got married, and they had a hold-mail thing when they were out of the country that expired.

And if a video gets age restricted then it's recommended less so she makes less money. Dude I love your channel, most of all because the kind of stuff you dig up isn't as horrifying as most internet misteries channels tend to be. Like "this inocuous website is actually related to CP rings" or "this is the RU-vid channel of a later mass murderer", this kind of stuff. Some of my favorite channels moved from ARGs and creepy but ultimately inoffensive internet things to true crime and adjacent matters, which I totally understand and respect (some of them being really important to the online community, even), but it's just not my jam. The AirBNB one is absolutely the person panicking and catastrophizing. Misplacing a lighter and keys are extraordinarily commonplace, and “taking apart the bed” to find keys is already not a particularly rational response. I’m curious if what they found in their shoe was actually even a razor blade, or if it might just be a bit of metal and they were already freaked out.

Re: California Raisins, if somebody was able to figure out the name of the character in the California based show (assuming OP is telling the truth on that one) there may be a way to figure out who they are and if it's truly some ARG or what. the sweatshirt thing is too much of a flag that it's either OP or the person who bought the sweater (most likely a friend, even). Also, in regards to mail, you can put your return address as anything you want. the post office might stamp its original location on the envelope or postcard tho (dont quote me on that). regardless of the truth, it's pretty funny tho

i'm wondering if it's actually a reverse of the youtuber theory from one of the comments. maybe the SENDER is making a "california rasins fan club prank", something this weird they would know the recipient would post about it online, so they could have been googling "california raisins fan club" every couple days until they saw the post and knew they had someone who would definitely post about it online. The most mysterious thing that happened to me was buying several pounds of random foreign coins and one of them was a weird USA dime. It was heavily worn but definitely a dime, not clad so it was an old version, and it was sort of shrunk. Like it was about 1mm smaller than a regular dime, with the difference being removed from the edge very consistently. Like for some reason the outer edge of a silver dime was perfectly machined off so the overall dime had a slightly smaller diameter than it originally had. It was still perfectly round and didn't look like it was filled off 🤔

You have a fantastic taste in music, I recognized the Silent Hill soundtrack song in the second story in the video! This video is really well done but I had to comment that I kinda geeked out when I heard Silent Hill music haha The California Raisins story is one of the most bizarre and interesting stories I’ve heard in ages. I really like how different the content on your channel is from other channels like it. Great job!
