This is my first Time ever seeing Morehouse Band and they sound Really Good.. But The ? You jus asked is Happening in Quite a few Of The HBCU Bands are getting smaller .

We lost Blake Gaines [JSU alum] as band director not once but twice. This is much improved over last year's band. We were larger under Blake back in the 90's and around 2015-2018.

Covid also killed music because of the respiratory factor. The middle schools feed the high which feed college. All the kids got pulled by either schools OR parents
