In my childhood, I used to pick up mushrooms (called as Khumbi or Khumb in Haryana). If we had found one Khumbi, it was sure that there must be another too. That Khumb had a great flavor, unlike in today's muschrooms.
And we love your VLOGS. Keep it up and keep it going. My suggestion. Please ask the collectors to cut Morchella (Guchhi) from base without uprooting. That way they can harvest more. Also think about helping them to sell online. That way we can get better price and I m sure they will also be benefitted. Same for Chilgoza pine nuts and dried fruits.

Im north indian. And we know about guchhi. Its costly about 20 to 25 thousand. Taste is v. Different. God bless these all mam, how much struggle they do and get guchhi
They're found in the forests of higher regions of Himachal Pradesh and are collected during the rainy season. Folks say that the more it thunders the more these guchhies pop up 😀
I don't know what it call locally. But mushroom found in j&k naturally are so expensive. I read it in book that such mushroom can't cultivate artificially. Might be it is that mushroom. Eventually i saw it. Very beautiful blog. I literally waits for your videos.
