I'm very excited to come to Morelia soon to see rentals. I think I need outter edge of Morelia where it's a bit quieter. Russell, do you know a realtor who might help me? I need to study my Spanish. LOL Only words I know are not nice. Learned as a kid in NYC. Mucha's gracias. Justine in Connecticut.
@@justinesimone5343 I am a Morelia native and i highly reccommend avoiding the outskirts, they might be kinda dangerous, of course there are nice neighborhoods too, it all depends on your budget, and the kind of lifestyle you are looking for.
@justinesimone5343 I'm sorry I didn't see your note. We were lucky in finding our home. We walked out of our niece's house to find a rental. The house next door was being painted. We rented it on the spot! It's nearly 4000 square ft, 3 bdrm/3 ba, in a nice neighborhood. After 3 years, we're still paying only 8000 pesos ($400 USD)! We scored!
Hola gringo. Yo soy de Morelia y actualmente vivo en california. Me encantó tu video explicaste muy bien todo lo hermoso que es esta ciudad. Felicidades 😘
Great job buddy! I like your style and how you aren't afraid to show yourself but are able to present an informative video. I'm a suscriber! I travel to Mexico often now I plan to go to Morelia! You would be a fun travel partner!
I’m from Morelia and wanted to thank you for coming to the city 😊 also gotta say that the last restaurant you went has a more commercialized food rather than traditional food. The street food is mostly on other part of the city and you can find it downtown only on special occasions
Came across your video by chance, you crack me up! I think you are great! After you spilled you Coke, I just had to subscribe to your channel! Best of luck friend! Will be watching more of your content 🤙🏽😁
In 'Santuario de Guadalupe' was my mass for ended my university, and I have something to say about 2 paintings you showed on your video, I can not remember the number of paintings into the church, but I guess probably be the third and fourth one, those were painted by Pedro Cruz, a painter who was born in Santa Ana Maya, Michoacan, after growing he moved to Acambaro, Guanajuato. He did many great paintings over Mexico and Texas.
That would be awesome! I’ll be in Oaxaca in February but not headed to the Yucatán area until March. In between San Cris, Palenque, Flores (Guatemala). It would be great to meet up!
Gringo. You do a beautiful job describing the places you visit, and not to mention the amazing photography. Only if you were a bit more consistent uploading videos (just an observation)
Thanks for the compliments David! I appreciate it! I know I haven’t been consistent; I got a little discouraged after my last few videos. But I have a bunch coming! Thanks for watching!
I found your channel recently and you do a very nice video. Morelia is beautiful and have friends that live there. Only minus, your occasional 'colorful' words downgrade the quality of your videos. Mexico is not like the states. Foul language is frowned upon except mostly by those that are involved in organized crime. Overall I do enjoy your videos and thanks for the experiences.
Thank you; I appreciate it! Funny you should mention my language; my mom just said the same thing to me! Its a bad habit; I will try to curb that in the future! Thanks for watching!
Curious, I know that there has been a tremendous amount of deforestation in Morelia, in order to grow "green gold" aka avocadoes. This is causing much consternation and frustration by locals, Did you encounter any of that? I believe that Criminal ELements are responsible for this deforestation and that it is a bit dangerous for locals to be loud about their discontent.
Interesting! No, I didn’t pick up on any of that. I didn’t even know about it actually. Although, I try not to mention anything about politics/narcos to any Mexican as I don’t want to insult/offend anyone.
Almost all mixed Mexicans have African ancestry. They were left out of the national identity creation after the Mexican Revolution either on purpose or lack of knowledge.
