At this year's Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, the luxury motorhome manufacturer MORELO will present its new flagship: the MORELO GRAND EMPIRE. It will be the largest and most luxurious model that MORELO has built to date and thus represent the new crowning achievement of the model range. According to Managing Director Reinhard Löhner, MORELO literally set itself the goal: "(...) to produce the most beautiful motorhome of all time."
The idea
In order to optimally meet the resulting demand, MORELO decided to bring a new model onto the market. The result of all considerations was the MORELO GRAND EMPIRE, which, with its outstanding quality and great attention to detail, should overshadow everything that had come before.
The creation process
At the beginning of the implementation there was the question of the right chassis. Because of the large dimensions of the MORELO GRAND EMPIRE, aspects such as travel comfort, safety and, of course, uncomplicated handling of the vehicle had to be ensured in the event of service. MORELO does not make any compromises when it comes to construction and equipment. The MORELO GRAND EMPIRE was intended to be a motorhome that completely redefined standards.
Ultimately, a luxury motorhome was created on the large-framed "Actros 1853" truck chassis from Mercedes-Benz with 531 hp, 12.7 l displacement and 2400 Nm torque, which impresses with its comfortable handling, outstanding safety and the latest technology, and ultimately with its excellent quality Design is convincing across the board.
The result
The unmistakable MORELO design line of the exterior has been consistently further developed and once again sets standards in the entire segment. Instead of conventional rear-view mirrors, the MirrorCam system from Mercedes-Benz makes maneuvering, turning and changing lanes even safer. In addition to established standards, MORELO only uses the latest technologies in the interior of the GRAND EMPIRE. All kitchen appliances are of household quality and are operated with 230 V. In addition to generously dimensioned solar and battery technology, an independent and above all powerful power supply is ensured via a diesel generator. A lot can also be expected from the new model in terms of comfort. Among other things, there are ergonomic lounge chairs in the living area that can be individually adjusted at the push of a button. So nothing stands in the way of unlimited relaxation.
