@@ataturu well that's because he made terrible dialog. And now that i think about it yeah the interactions were so robotic like the lines of dialog. It also didn't help that they were in a green screen like the entire filming of the prequels.

Technically not true. His directorial debut was Play Misty for Me in 1970, he’d only been in Hollywood for just over a decade at that point. He’s said he was very frustrated shooting films for some directors, but especially tv series Rawhide. He says he had a recurring director, who he did not specifically name, that was always keeping them for 14-16 hours days to shoot a 48 minute show. That was the old standard length with commercials. He was influenced by several directors but he credits Spaghetti Western director Sergio Leone for his efficiency and John Huston for his respect of talent.

When I hear stuff like that it makes me emotional. There is NOTHING more great than someone who puts themselves on the level of everyone around them regardless of their celebrity status

My mother worked with him on the set of “midnight in the garden of good and evil” here in Georgia and she says he’s absolute class. And the reason he never says action or cut and is always soft spoken on set is because he’s worked on so many films with horses and that’s how you behave. You can’t spend half the day calming down horses. So he is always “ok, go ahead” real softly and never yells.

A friend of mine, Jimmy Herman, had a small part on Unforgiven. He said Clint would come by everyday to say good morning, ask if everyone was okay and had everything they needed. He treated everyone the same no matter what part you played.

He isnt a perfectionist. He doesnt let actors practice at all. He knows that his name attached is enough. But you're not getting fantastic movies, especially the ones he is in.

No doubt..'God' said I was alright..😉 that's gotta be uplifting for Clint. Eastwood's movies seemed deceptively simple, because they're all character-driven (and usually well written) , with no special effects to distract you..Gritty realism.. Arguably one of the best western/ Cowboy actors and western movie makers in history. From Josey Wales ,Hang Em high, to the Far shores of the Sands of Iwo Jima,- C. E. Is one of the very best. Its hard to pick his best picture, because hes made so many good ones..
