I was just about to say something of the same sort! I believe you're 100% right! Especially being around all these other prestigious actors Morgan Freeman being black is going to hold his people to a higher standard! As TI said he dodged a bullet? That's not true because the box office numbers don't mean shit when you can work and learn from that caliber of actors! In life we call them phrases "deflection of self"....

What was so painfully disappointing about the whole thing is that T.I. was too arrogant to acknowledge the part he played in his demise. 😕 Instead, he should have thanked Mr. Freeman for teaching him a valuable lesson about professionalism as a Black male coexisting in a "coveted" space. T.I. should definitely right himself with Mr. Freeman if and whenever their paths cross again. I hope that he is contrite and humble in his conversation with Mr. Freeman because after all, he was the one who not only embarrassed himself, but also his fellow Black elder who has worked so hard to get where he is today. Not too many Black men at Freeman's age can hold that top spot, and so when you come off as an unprofessional pompous ass, it reflects negatively on the entire community. If we all acted w like mine respect none of this shit would happen! But at the same time kids look up to ppl like T.I. and others and want to imitate what they see whether it's! White ,Black, Asian, Spanish, or to children over seas who bow to these Artists! Hip hop is the most powerful music ever! And kids hang on every word! If a certain person wears certain cloths then that's the best! If a certain person takes a particular drug then that's what's being taken! I wish there was a more common sense approach and more ppl that have a ear and eye like you.
