I love him too. But hes fallen for the electric car scam. They are not environmentally friendly. We get our lithium and cobalt from china mining them w heavy machinery.that cause tons of emissions, we deplete the earth of precious minerals. There is not enough of those minerals in the planet to even power califonia. Electricy needs coal. Also, China uses slave labor in the congo to get these minerals. They work in horrific conditions. Also, there is no, earth friendly way of disposing the batteries.

This man, Morgan Freeman, should be considered a national treasure to the film/television industry and to the world. I find Mr.Freeman to be a fascinating individual. His voice alone is so mesmerizing. Future generations will hopefully treasure him like Dr.Martin Luther King.

I've watched and admired Mr. Freeman from his days on Electric Company until now. He has an extraordinary voice, and has done a lot to help people, and bring awareness to many causes. He's an amazing man with a long career of great movies and voiceover work.

Doesn't everybody love Morgan? He is such a talented, intelligent, and thoughtful man. I think he has his finger on the pulse of the world and he just "gets it." Whenever I catch one of his interviews, I'm never surprised when he responds to a question that the interviewer didn't expect. His answers are usually direct and profound, and whatever he says he manages to say without throwing anybody under the bus. I really like that about him and have immense respect for him as a person. I've been a fan since Shawshank Redemption! Morgan, you are the best!!!
Have you not listened to his interview with Mike what's his name on whatever news network? When he asked Morgan about racism in America, Morgan replied flatly the way to deal with racism is to stop talking about it. He went on to say that Mike what's his name should stop referring to Morgan as a black man and he would stop referring to Mike as a white man. That is Morgan's approach to racism. We are all just people. Is that such a bad thing?

A lot of comments asking why he was a short interview. It wasnt supposed to be short, Cant you see it? Let me explain why. When he first remarked, "you want the truth or should i make something up?" That got the producers rattled, if any guest even hints that they may say things the hosts disagree with they need to reel it in. We all know how whoopi has anger management problems. They cant risk another shoving and screaming and spitting incident. And the weekly viewers for the show is very low as it is. The hosts cant really run the show on their own. Ive watched them for years, they always need help from off set. Always looking for direction. Not that it isnt a good show, im certainly not saying that. But a good host runs their own show, if the guest gets off task they themselves bring it back to where they want it. You dont see that in this case. Now Freeman was given a list of the questions that would be asked to him. AND most likely was asked to tell the producers what his answers would be. So now its locked down. But he switched it up on them, and notice he had a sly grin when he presented the question to the hosts. At that moment they new he was a wild card. Now notice when he makes the remark, "It shouldnt be that way because somebody did make money." and he was going to say, "YOU shouldnt feel that way " but caught himself. But look at the deer in the headlights look in the hosts eyes as she looks off stage for help. Then whoopi tries to save her by jumping in but by then the producers decided to shut it down. This really shows the utter lack of faith the producers have with these hosts. They really are bad at what they do. Hope this clarifys things for some of you. From the time he made the last remark until they had him off was only about twenty seconds they booted him fast. He was meant to be on much longer.

Never one to miss an opportunity to be self-righteous, Joy Behar does her part by being "appalled" and "upset" over the film roles afforded black people in the 1940's, playing servants. Morgan Freeman was quick to remind her that they "did make money" playing those roles. I'm sure Joy has no problem in real life being waited on hand and foot by black people. God forbid they do it on screen! To quote the black actress Hattie McDaniel: "I'd rather play a maid and make $700 a week than be a maid and make $7."
I don't see anything unusual here with "ending" this interview - I've been watching TV for 74 years and if they run out of time they just say that, thank the person who they are interviewing, and then move on.
