I love her and her work. She's one of the best singers in the world. I'm still baffled that she's not far, far better known and much, much more successful in terms of record sales and tour sales and all that. I can only hope. Anyway, thanks for posting this clip. It's lovely to learn a bit more about her as a person.

I became an instant Morgan James fan when I heard her "Barbie Girl" performance. Whatever she does she seems to do it perfectly.

3:05 There are issues important to me, too, but I keep them out of my job. You entertain us. Don't try to teach us, That is not your profession. Leave that to the people who know the in depth details of the issues instead of the knee jerk reactions too many people give. Your knowledge and talent is music.

@Zakiyyah Sutton "you are in NO place to dictate to an artist what their responsibility is." YOU are in no place to dictate to me just as she is in no place to dictate to us. You and she both like to be told what to do yet tell everyone else what to do. "Leave the comments to people who actually have something valuable to contribute." As if you have anything of value to say? You are a sheep who, when an artist tugs on your heart string, puts them on a pedestal and follows them blindly and consider their words gospel. You give them a free pass to do and say what they want since it is what you agree with but when someone says something you don't like, they don't have a right to an opinion. Right. THERE is my opinion.

@Zakiyyah Sutton Of course you are not going to read that paragraph. You think a person has the right to their opinion only when it is what you agree to. You think she has the right to preach but if she was saying something you don't like, not only would you be brutal about it, you probably would try to have her banned. Your type does that. PS-news flash. i bet she doesn't care about your opinion, either. Frankly, I doubt anyone does.
