The mans got talent and he’s gonna be here for awhile. For god sake leave him alone and let him be. Booby bones, who is the top country radio man, said let it go it’s in the past. Why can’t the rest of y’all leave it in the past?
He is the one that wants to save his career by having these public appearances. What was the journalist supposed to say “Thanks for saying that word, we think its great.” HE AGREED TO COME TALK ABOUT HIS ACTIONS. Country music is sick of being associated with this kind of racism, so they made him pay for it by excluding him, now he needs to make a public show that he has learned his lesson so everything can be better. Wounds take time to heal so now that it was months ago he can come talk about it again.
Ummmmmmmm People complain about White people saying it when they rap along to Black artist. Point to a famous White rapper who uses that word, Ill wait......
Just to let you know I am black and I love Morgan wallen and won’t stop listening to his music and having easy access to hearing or reading the n-word is not an invitation for anyone to use it. Although individuals might say this reaction to saying the n-word is too sensitive, the reality is it creates an uncomfortable disturbance when used by a person who is not black. The First Amendment allows freedom of speech, so by law, people can say whatever they want. They can scream insults and hold up signs with nasty slurs, but make no mistake, these actions are not okay. Acting like a racist expressivist might be protected by law, but it is never going to be morally acceptable, and the consequences will be unpleasant. Out of respect for an entire race, avoiding the use of a vile, degrading word in any sort of context should come easy. White people will never look cool or have the same intentions when saying it. The racial majority does not have the same experiences as black people and never will. The n-word was created in a derogatory manner with the goal of degrading the African-American race. Black people say the n-word because they can. The term comes from a place of shared, oppressive history. After decades of being belittled, black people deserve to claim the word as their own.
@@codytole6834 if you can’t see the correlation between his usage of this word and his reckneck bum fans then skyrocketing his streaming records, i have news for you… you’re just as ignorant as he is for using it, and i’m sure you guys are all as casual about the word as he is. stupid likes stupid. this isn’t surprising.
He says the word in his driveway to his friends...yet how many rap songs contain the word and they haven't been protested!?!? People do/say dumb sh!$ when they're intoxicated. No it doesn't excuse it, but he didn't deserve this!! His "neighbors" had been filming him for a while and made big bucks selling the video!! Absolute B.S. Let's remove songs like WAP from the radio instead!!
Thanks for the love and support I decided to take out time today out of my busy schedule to get close and I came across you through my official RU-vid channel Big hug from me Are you one of my great honest fans out there
@@pycellesbeard9728 Michael Strahan is IGNORANT AF too!!The questions were STUPID. WHY isn't he interviewing all of the black artists like Kanye and Jamie Foxx about Gold Digger or the other black artists that use that word on a daily basis?? You CANNOT say it's ok for black people to use the word, but white people can't?? EFF THAT!!! You can't have a DOUBLE STANDARD...IT'S BS!!!! #ISTANDWITHMORGANWALLENALWAYS
@@lisamathis01 are you dumb? Black people turned a derogatory word that was made against them and made it into something better. If you’re not black then you Obviously dont understand 🤦🏾♀️ Black people can say it, white people cant. Simple as that🤷🏾♀️
@@morganwallen25 You are an AMAZING singer. We all have moments of saying something we are not necessarily proud of especially when drunk lol. Being from Alabama we call our friends that alot and never think anything bad about so I completely get where your coming from. I also understand how black people take it as being ugly too. Anyway keep on keeping on... your music is the BEST!!!! 🥰😘
I wish you had asked Michael if he'd ever said that word? Seems that black people can say it, but white people can''t. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying if it's a taboo word it should be taboo for all. NASCAR did the same crap to Kyle Larson, and he came back, bigger and better, just like you have!
@@shaunie3268 that's my whole point, color should not dictate if something is offensive. If it's offensive it should be considered offensive no matter who uses it. Go call a German a Nazi and see if they get offended, they will because it is and untill we as a human race stop see each other as anything else but human, we will continue to perpetuate hate. I'm not excusing what he said, he should be held accountable but so should everyone else no matter the color of skin.
@@sliqindustries4782 Well, if the word was NEVER used as a negative connotation regarding ppl that look like me from colonizers in the 1st place, it wouldn’t be an issue. The fact those ways are still against us by their descendants is disgusting. African Americans took the word back. Should it be used….no, but it is & so shall racists to show their lack of self esteem…IJS
@@shaunie3268 I hear what you are saying and can understand that point of view, I prefer to view things in the category as right and wrong, not sometimes wrong, I do believe this is offensive and should be no matter who says it but this is just my opinion and I respect your opinion. Thanks for sharing a quality point of view and not just saying I'm a racist, I feel the world would get along better if people had better communication skills.
@@sliqindustries4782 it’s definitely offensive & to call u a racist would mean that u showed me that u were. U didn’t do that, so I don’t see u as 1. Ur welcome & thank u for sharing ur views as well.
Michael Strahan knows how it feels to be “less than”. Being a multi million dollar athlete, it’s so clear he can relate with being a slave in 1800. Poor guy.
Maybe not but he knows what it’s like to be less than when it comes to a system that’s typically set-up for people like him to not succeed, at least in regards to surpassing Caucasian counterparts
Strahan pretending to be upset is hilarious. You’ve been called the word, Mike? How many times have you called your boys that same word in the exact same way Wallen used it? Shut up
Thank you! Had to stop watching after that part. TF. It’s one thing to say the black community isn’t too fond of white people using the word. Ok I get it, sure. But keep talking & be the fu*k honest! Admit the word is still ALIVE & a thing today BECAUSE of the black community. Admit nobody uses the word more than blacks themselves. Black artists sell the word to every white person buying their music & that seems to be ok. But the minute some idiot doesn’t get the joke, that same group of people is more than willing to wag a sanctimonious finger. Admit you just milked the victim card Michael- at Morgan’s expense - when you or your buddies have said the same thing he did 100 times. It didn’t work, u looked the fool, but you tried.
@@shakeyraware1563 What hood you from? Born and raised in Newark and JC. The truth is Spanish people and whites who grew up with us said it. Already a crack in the logic. Now if we are casually using it in our songs and deciding who can use it based on their perceived "struggle", you have a flawed logic.
How ignorant of Michael Strahan to sit there like he put an "R" at the end of that word but yet that word has been in every single rap song for the last two decades with an "A" at the end of it as in you are referring to your "close friends" or "homies"
@@elisejackson2854 its even in the urban dictionary as exactly what I described. Whether everyone "supports" or it not is irrelevant. The definition of a word does not change based on the color of the skin, of the person using it. That is racial discrimination.
@Brian Daddio why y'all so pressed about using a word 😂 I don't go around calling women B**** or gay people f*** although they use it themselves, I literally have zero inclination to use those words
even after the interrogation morgan still managed to answer all of the questions without being fazed. that should be what everyone takes from this video
Now go Interview and question every Rap artist that constantly uses the N word with no backlash at all ! Im not defending using the N word , I want it completely out of our society and not accepted when blacks use it !
Update: He is more famous now than ever. He owned up to his mistakes. Michael did a great job interviewing him without blowing up about the incident. Glad to see is hasn't interfered with Morgan's success because he truly is an awesome guy
He was attacking him the whole time wdym? Strahan has that holier than thou attitude. Like he’s never said something fucking dumb when he’s drunk. What a piece of shit
yeah man, real awesome guy, let's see what the black community thinks of his cracker ass. Whites love to excuse each other for blatant racism on a regular basis, but they're not the target of said racism and therefore cannot apologize on behalf of black people. Besides, why are you defending a racist? Is there a conflict of interest here? Do you feel threatened by racists facing the consequences of their actions because this will be you someday?
His record sales had nothing to do with what he had said or the culture of country music, it’s simply because he put out one of the best albums this year.
His record sales increased as a sign of support for him after the video came out. But on a side note, I as a black man can care less about his use of the N word until we instill in our community to not use it!! It makes no sense to me why our black culture use the most derogatory word in our culture amongst one another!
@@Tesem-tq1ge I agree about the use of the word, but at least for me, I really enjoyed the album since before the incident. I think the incident may have brought many people to discover his name and his music
can we just point out the fact that his neighbor recorded him returning home in the middle of the night and then was petty enough to use it to harm his rising career like what would you do if your neighbor recorded you returning home and then sent it to your employer
