This whole Cinematic is based around Kindred (Lamb and Wolf). In the World of Runeterra, Kindred is essentially the grim reaper. She collects those in death. there are signs of Kindred in all 3 scenes. the Scenes are broken up into Past, Future, and Present. In the Past, Two Demi-Angels, Kayle (blonde) and Morgana (Brunette) Defended and dealt justice in a Land that would eventually become known as Demacia. The Scene Depicts an area under siege by the Darkin Aatroxx (the demon). Darkin were originally ascendant beings but they were driven mad by the void in a war long ago. Kayle and Morgana are sisters, their Mother is an angel, and they both hold 1 half of their mother's sword. They defeat Aatrox. In the lore, Kayle is stoic and brings justice in a very cold and unemotional way, while Morgana is more affected by the plight of humans and reasons that judgement and justice can be tempered. In the scene Morgana drops her mothers weapon and taps into darker powers to fight Aatrox, you can see the disdain Kayle has for Morgana in the quick glance she gives her, even as she takes up both halves of her mothers sword and causes the firestorm. if you look closely, there is an afterimage in the fire that is Kindred. Then you go to the Future, in Ionia, where we are greeted by an Old man version of Yasuo, the Wind swordsman. After he uses his whirlwind, you see many arrows in the sky coming for Yasuo, including a bright one, which appears to hit him, this is the Arrow of Kindred, claiming Yasuo. if you look in the sky, you can also see the apparent shape of a wolfs head. in the last scene, which would be considered the Present, in Frejord, you see Tryndamere, who has the power to avoid death by tapping into his rage via blood magic. He is married to Ashe, a Frostborn Tribal Leader. In the scene, Trendamere is fighting death (literally) by fighting against Kindred (the Lamb and the Wolf). Tryndamere power in game is literally to become un-killable for a short period of time. As the fight goes on, Kindred lets her bow go because Ashe has arrived, and saves Tryndamere. It's not his time to die.
Also tryndamere was not actually fighting kindred, he was fighting the frejord soldier but in his mind he was fighting death (kindred), kindred was about to kill tryndamere (actually the 2 soldiers behind him were the Ines dealing the strike but then kindred lowered her bow because ashe saved his life, when the illusion disappear tryndamere is surrounded by the bodies of the soldiers he killed. It's amazing how kindred it's not even there but it's reaping the life of all of them.
i would like to add that the meaning behind is that whenever Tryndamere uses his ult, he is actually fighting Kindred every time. There was not a single expression of confusion when he was in the middle of Kindred's mist, as if he was somewhat expecting it, no ?
Actually she has 4 wings in the cinematic which means she would be at least level 6, so she likely went from lvl 10 to 11 where her passive procced and she became exalted :D
Tryndamere was about to die. So kindred as the manifestation of death came to take him. But tryndamere fought through death with his (ult) and then kindred let him go. That’s why his eyes were read he was in his ult fighting death to not die. When his ult ends he survived and death ( kindred ) disappeared. Ashe arrived in that time saving him from the other foes as well.
To be more specific here, Ashe actually saved tryndamere from death killing the 2 folks, so kindred disappeared since she doesn't have to take trynda away now that the guys are dead :)

Whether it's the Past (Morgana &Kayle), Present (Tryndamere), and Future (OldMan Yasuo). Death is "Still Here" no matter whattime it is. You can see Kindred in the Fires of thePast destroying Aatrox, Facing Tryndamere, andShooting a Fatal Arrow at Old Man Yasuo in thehead.
the key for all questions is the main character of the cinematic - Kindred. Just remember who they are. death Atrox - they are in the flame. Yasuo death - Kindred's arrow do that (more bandits arrows incoming). The Kindred are surprised that Tryndamere does not accept death, although he should already be dead, so they retreat.
I love the subtle lore with kindred because at beginning it shows him on ground surrounded like he was on deaths door so he was seeing kindred...but as soon as ash saved him kindred faded because he lived
If you watch Yasuo Scenes last seconds, you will see one glowing arrow coming before the others. Thats the arrow of death (Kindreds arrow) Yasuo accept the faith of death unlike Tryndamere so Kindred shows very much her mercy to him. If you look closely you will see The Wolf hidden on the background in Yasuo Scene, means if Yasuo opens the wind wall and rejects death he will fight the invaders and the wolf itself. The details of Kindred are just pure art
The Cinematic takes place in 3 different time periods., and is basically Kindred coming to take the dying through time. The Past: Kayle & Morgana in a very VERY old Damacia. You can tell because the gate is still made of regular wood and stone, and the surrounding forests aren't Petricite yet. And also obviously Morgana still has her wings unbound, so this is before the she and Kayle had their full falling out. The Future: With an old Yasuo (the samurai with wind powers you've seen in other cinematics) still protecting people and still being an absolute and total giga chad. At the end it's obviously Lamb's Arrow sailing towards him as he accepts his death. And you can also see at the end Wolf's eyes and outline in the darkness in the background. The Present: With Tryndamere (the guy with the sword) almost dying in his fight against another clan in the Freljord. He is battling against Lamb & Wolf because he is in a berserker rage and is literally too enraged to die. And it's crazy when you realize the fight with Lamb & Wolf is just spiritual/in his mind. He was REALLY getting up and fighting/killing all of the enemies that took him down at the start of the cinematic. Just the tiny details let you know that this is Kindred hunting through time. At the end of Kayle+Morg vs Aatrox fight scene, you can see Lamb's silhouette in the flames when Kayle strikes Aatrox down and it transitions to Yasuo's scene. However, Kindred obviously wasn't able to claim Aatrox, because like many of the Darkin, his soul is actually in the sword and not in the body they killed. The future Yasuo scene, at the end that's Kindred's arrow coming for him as he accepts his death. And at the end you can see Wolf's eyes and silhouette in the darkness ahead of him. And near the end of the Tryndamere fight, Lamb eventually lowers her bow because she senses that Ashe arrived to save him, so Lamb realizes it's not yet Tryn's time to die. Just magnificent.
Kayle and Morg scene is back in time before morg was all but disowned by Demacia for being a mage that’s why you see kayle look at morg with disgust after she uses her magic. Yasuo scene is set in the future the currently theory is that because he kept getting accused of killing people that he didn’t he chose to not fight using his wind powers anymore that’s why he starts with the staff. Once he realizes he can’t win he takes up the sword using the wind not to kill but to knock out the bandits. (Hence the 0 blood) and the last fight between Trynd and kindred is the coolest fight in my mind! Kindred is leagues equivalent of the grim reaper they are not inherently evil but they take you when it’s your time. Now time for some lore trynd got stabbed by Aatrox at one point and that’s why he has his ultimate ability undying rage! And it’s believed that everytime he uses r he’s fighting with kindred (in his head) but in reality he’s fighting whatever is actually trying to kill him (in this case the soldiers)
The description says "Past, Present and Possible Future". So that was Old Man Yasuo. One of his possible future and that arrow was Lamb's (Kindred) meaning peaceful death also you can see Wolf's eye in the backround of the shot of arrow. And Kindred is kinda confused or amused that Tryndamere can resist them (Because of his Darkin Magic "Undying Rage") When they realized that it's not his time yet they disappeared.
See I've played League for so many years and got sòme knowledge about the lores of different champions. But man, I realize when people like you comment that there's so many interesting things still to learn hahaha. I didn't catch wolf's eye, that's an awesome catch!
Fun Facts is the final battle where the strong man faced a wolf and Lamb Archer. It means he is facing death. He is fighting for his life, remember at the beginning he was on the snowbed surrounded by Barbarians. Yeah, he is fighting them while also fighting death. Tyrndamere is at death's door. And when the moment the Frost Archer saves him. Death, though, it's not his time yet.
Kayle, Morgana and Attrox is Past Event also If you look at kayle when morg ult you can see the ick and disgust on her face, Yasuo is in Future Event where he accept death which you can see the arrow and the sillohoutte of wolf, the Tryndamere is in Present Event where Ashe save him from death which is Kindred.
The video shows past (morgana and kayle), present (ashe and tryndamere) and a possible future (old man yasuo). A bit confusing I suppose! But it shows Kindred's presence throughout those times. You can see their silhoeutte and stuff in each battle at some point!
(Spoilers) Tryndamere, Kayle, Morgana, Atrox was the past. (Kindred was there in all of their past. They were there in every shot.) Yasuo was his future. (Wolf was watching) 3:20 Tryndamere was the present. Kindred is aware of everyone at all times. Their chance to kill Tryndamere vanished when Ashe showed up, so she lowered her bow and wolf backed off.
Kayle is extremely self-rightous while Morgana is pragmatic. So that look represents Kayle's disdain that Morg is resorting to dark magic to win. Most of their voice lines in game are arguing with each other over methods.
Morgana has always been the hottest champ to me so it's nice to finally see her in 4K. I promise I'm not a creep >.> Ah... I play League, what's the point in trying to have dignity.

the end of the Yasuo sceen.... it wasnt ashe's arrow. It was kindred's. Bcs yasuo did die there. Did u notice the wolf at the backeound just before the arrow showed up?
Someone in the comments did mention the wolf's eye yeah, I noticed it now! But wow, that's what it means? I still can't believe Riot 'killing' a champion haha That makes that scene even better than it already was. A true warrior's death for Yasuo
I do remember that from the Yasuo and Yone cinematic, yes! This makes a lot of sense because Ahri drains life essence from people right? I hope we get some more information on what happened there with Ahri and Yasuo.
@@AppleBaron we don't know that but it's a possibility. We know Morgana's fight with Aatrox is in the past, so Tryndamere's might be in the present and Yasuo's in the future... that makes sense.
For someone who doesn't know their lore, you are absolutely correct about Kayle's disgusted side eye. Also I'm sure it's been said already, but Kindred wasn't punishing Tryndamere, they were there only because he was going to die, and left when Ashe intervened to save his life, as he wasn't going to die anymore. In a way, the Kindred fight was something of a metaphor for his struggle for his life, when in reality he was fighting the other guys the whole time. That's why they were behind him when Ashe shot them. Solid waifu goals by the way, Ashe and Trynd.
