If there is something you want to know or look at now is the time to write you questions below. I will make another video where I answer questions and show some more programming etc if that is of interest. Can't promise that I can answer every question though.

if someone stumbles upon this video , there is one detail i'd like to add on the touchscreens . The MACHINE screen is actually the old style touchscreen , so it should work in 100% water condition , it does not matter . But the "PC" screen is the new type of touchscreen and it might be sensitive to water and oils . Just found out the other day...

Finally a machine tour, lol. Good of you to take the time to show us around. Very Good to know the main reasons for the change to this machine. To have Y axis is good. If you need it ? It is an expensive add on to any CNC Lathe purchase. But if you have a use for it, why not. It does come in handy, and the add on of the Sub Spindle is another great option to have. Once again More $$$$$, which is common with every machine purchase. Not much has changed in the back of the machine. Other than cosmetic changes, as you mentioned. Very similar to the original Mori Seiki SL 2500. Thanks again for the look around the machine. I feel a little bad to ask for a tour now ? As it seems i am the only one interested, looking at the comments. Much appreciate the effort. Peter.,

I have a question, what do you work in real life or are you self-employed, your machine park points to it, but then you don't show your work ..... it doesn't matter, but when it comes to hobby, that's a lot of money what you invest there! Awesome thing in any case!

Good question. I run my shop 50% of the time and do designwork in CAD for another company 50%. I just assume that customers don't want their products or prototypes shown on youtube, but when something comes along that I know I can show I will. Thank you for commenting!

Does anyone know how to change the IP address ? We want to load & save to a main server where all our programs are to be kept and backed up every night. We only have a level 2 key.

Change the IP of the lathe ? The IP of the machine should be assigned by your network. There is a huge section in the manual about how to set up that.
