I'm Korean who just got to learn about this clip and Morrisette. She is an amazing singer - i would even dare to say her rendition is more dramatic and emotional than the original - but note that the original singer (Big Mama) is also well known to be one of the best singers in Korea. I'm really impressed even though I knew that the Philippines are filled with amazing singers. I'm now a big fan of hers!
She's actually a really shy person. When she's being interviewed in a variety show when she's a bit younger and her talent isn't that quite recognized yet, she's the most quiet one, and she won't speak unless she's talked to. She's also so polite lol the host was a great, he brought out the funny side of Morissette and made her get along with the other singers on the segment.

Proud of her. You can definitely tell her voice is tired. Take it easy sa mga gigs. Your voice is God's gift. Take care of it. You can be famous and rich but once that voice is gone, there is no getting it back. Rest baby girl!
Oh i have a little information about her voice she sick during that time and she needs to participate although she's not feeling well and the outcome from korea is too good...She needs to do that To Represent Philippines ☺️ 🇵🇭

you can notice her voice isn't in the best condition, but she's still sooooo good! she can sing, she can rap, she's a natural performer, and she's even beautiful! I'm mad I just found about her a few days ago. She came to korea to perform...and I didn't even know! Hope I have a chance to go to her concert someday
Yeah, her voice definitely was not in the best condition here since when this was filmed, she was actually sick but still managed to sing in front of everyone. I think her raspy voice (due to her being sick here) made this song very emotional and painful to listen. Could literally feel her soul coming out of this

Mori is truly an exceptionally gifter vocalist! Power, emotionals, dynamics, and style combined! She has been very exhausted with commitments left and right and clearly she has not fully recovered yet BUT still gave an AMAZING performance! All praise for you my dear!

Why worry about her vocal condition? She sounds 100x better in this year's performance than last year. Why does everyone worry about her voice when the raspy, husky, edgy tone makes her 1000x more soulful and emotional?? If your tone is too clean, it gets to be a little boring.

Most, not all, koreans have strong nationalism and because of that they intended to ignore or lose interest to foreign songs. Nonetheless I LOVE MORISSETTE 💕
Koreans audiences usually praise kpop singers who sing songs in English -- but they won't care if foreign singers do the same thing. It's because of their nationalism .....btw, English classes are taught in SK elementary schools so many Koreans do understand English
