I agree with you, this iconic song "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion is a difficult one to cover, in studio recording, but more so in live setting. To be able to cover a song by a great artist, one has to have the same level and caliber as that artist. It takes a great singer to cover a great singer. And Morissette is one of the best vocalists in this generation. You are right, she has pure talent and so much power in her voice. The way she builds up the song, her placing of vocal breaks and squeaks, her rich tone, full and rounded belts, all that she does in her singing are what makes us love to watch and listen to her always, we will never get tired of being amazed by her performances. Specially that these are live performances. And we know Mori sounds even better live than studio recordings. Can you just imagine being there among the audience on that concert with the live orchestra and her live vocals. It must have been surreal, goosebumps galore, but heartwarming and breathtaking. By the way, Amay Amon is her father. He has lots of videos of Morissette's live performances on stage. Speaking of covering a great artist, Morissette performed just recently the "Bodyguard Medley" of Whitney Houston in David Foster's concert in Manila. Please react to that majestic performance. I recommend the Day 2 when she was wearing a pink gown. From Celine Dion to Whitney Houston, we're surely in for another great treat. 🥰
